Responsible for managing newly on-boarded clients to provide a strong experience for the client to further
invest and leverage our capabilities
Enabled landscape merger to support acquisitions made by Capita. Led a 6 member team; analysed existing
technical architecture and workflows; pre-empted risks; planned implementation roadmap and risk
mitigation. Managed Upgrade, Implementation, Support, SAP Roll outs etc. for newly on-boarded clients.
Administered an impactful experience to ensure continued relationship and in turn future deals to Capita. Explain
On an average Capita group acquires 2 companies every year, the business merger requires to be supported
by technical landscape merger. And our whole shared services team was responsible for this landscape
merger. And out of whole my team was responsible for the merger of SAP applications. Where-in we had to
understand existing technical architecture and workflows, identify the gap required to be filled to bring the
new client system in Capita's landscape and pre-empt the risks. After that prepare the project plan get it
approved by the stakeholdres and start working on the identified objects & functionality; and finally roll
them out and later provide the maintenance required. What are these new clients; business reason behind acquisition; Capita's strategy- overall as well
Our team was responsible for SAP projects for Implementation, roll-out, upgrade. And we were preferred
over others for handling newly acquired clients. The new clients were from Energy sector, Government How your services ensure strengthening of the relation. Find Examples
Sector, manufacturing sector. Why was your team preferred?
Team Management, Conflict Management, One specific project problem resolution example, How to handle
team member with difficult attitude.

Mentored 30+ colleagues from 7 teams on solutions and business process improvement initiatives. Examples- two solid examples
I was SAP Workflow SME of my development Centre, So I used to guide colleagues from different project
teams for their workflow issues related to solutioning or business process improvement for their clients. What mentoring? Which clients?
Empanelled recruiter for Capita ITES, Pune and was recognized for Inductions carried out for New Hires of
Capita’s Applications department.
I was in the interview panel of Capita ITES for SAP ABAP & Workflow competency. Other than that I was also
part of the induction program for the newly hired resource for my competency. The major factor I looked for
in a candidate was his/her technical skill, ability to understand business process & functionality and
communication skills, as being workflow consultant they would require to understand the whole business
flow for which they would be designing the workflow and they would need to discuss that with the related How many, for what all projects, factors you considered to decide on candidates
stakeholders. Low Priority: kind of questions you asked and how you gauged the responses

The whole project is divided in different tasks and tasks in Sub-tasks which are further divided to WBS. These
WBS are separately estimated in terms of time and we identify the type of resource required for the WBS
which tells us about the costing for the WBS. After this, the values are combined at WBS level to get costing
at sub-task level. Similarly we find the costing of Task and finally of the whole project.
Reinforced Solution Design, Effort Estimation exercises and Proposal creation against RFP, with critical Another task is of scheduling of tasks which helps us to give timeline of different phases or task completion
technology inputs; helped Capita win contracts worth more than GBP 50 MN. to the clients.
Industries
I used to check the RFPs to comeup with questions for clients before the designing of the solution, at times I
also used to sit with pre-sales team in such meetings. Then I used to estimate for the jobs related to SAP
ABAP & Workflow side and I also used to help pre-sales team with any critical input for their proposal
writting. What were your contributions? generic contributions to deals; latest deals- and specific contribution.
Clients for their requirements issue RFPs which generally comes to the pre-sales team via Sales team for
Deals: quick background of what was required (RFP/RFI); what was the approach taken?; what was your
creation of proposal against the RFPs. This proposal contains the proposed solution, effort estimated,
resources required, time lines and assumptions. Now for these pre-sales team may require help from role?
technical teams. For any such needs related to SAP ABAP & Workflow I used to assist Capita pre-sales team. Estimation Technique - Capita: Widget Assigning resources based on 80% productivity basis
For estimation I used to work with mix of estaimation techniques like, top down, three - point and parametric. Work on the largest deal in detail.
In last 2 years i helped the pre-sales with 5 proposals out of which we won 3. Wins/Losses- Reasons?
Fostered SAP ABAP and workflow competency building, an enhanced capability resulted in improved win
probability
To bid for projects you need to showcase the skill set of the resources you have, who can work on the
client's project. For SAP ABAP & Workflow I was responsible for competency building, and I used to???
candidates with what all skill sets need to be hired and what trainings the existing competency needed to
undergo so that we can cater to the upcoming demand Explain Competency Building
Need to compare the skillsets required in the upcoming projects or biddings and map it to existing
resources, arrange for their training if required or else hire from market. Tasks carried out; Did you plan recruitment based on bids or other way around?
Initiated development of a Benefit model articulating advantages of transition from on premise to Capita
Private Cloud. It will be used to support Capita’s Private Cloud drive meant for its acquired and associated
organizations
To come up with Benifit-cost model I explored client's existing landscape & pricing, then Igathered This model calculates project costs, such as capital outlays like hardware and
information about the landscape and pricing when client's system moves to CPC. The comparision of the software costs; labor costs for IT staff, consultants, and developers; training and
prices and other advantages of improved agility, time savings, mobility and productivity I accounted in that
benefit model. For pricing it was distributed under 3 heads: Capital Expenditure, Operational Expenditure, What do you mean by benefit model support costs; hardware and software maintenance fees; and vendor fees such
and Indirect Costs (loss due to downtime, time to market benefit, etc.) How did you arrive at monetary benefits from Agility, mobility and Productivity? as data communications.
How were you preparing it; How did you assess the To be model? Lay out the componenets for pricing and
Existing landscape, Price model & pricing, To be landscape, pricing and advantage of moving assessment in details.
Conceptualized and launched an SAP based performance management tool to enhance Capita group's
performance management system. The solution has been rolled out in 3 continents; saving more than GBP 2
MN per year. It also got catalogued as one of the offerings to Capita's clients Which three continents? WHy?
This is an employee performance tool which can be rolled out in your existing SAP system and you would not
need to pay for any licensing cost or yearly maintenence charge to any 3rd party. In addition being in SAP it
gets integrated to all other SAP modules seemlessly, therefore provides smooth operation and effortless
consistency. Along all the basic features it provides 360 performance review option. Additionally it sends
notification to apprasier and aprasiee for their actions. The review form comes in SAP inbox which can be
reflected in the enterprise portal, which even provide convinenece to the employees as they get all the
required applications at one place. Explain the tool; Why is this tool required? WHich pain areas did it address?
I was talking to my head of application services department and got to know the price we were paying to the
existing performance appraisal tool - Cornerstone.Based on my colleagues & personal experience I felt it was
too much and a SAP based tool can be created to replace this 3rd party tool. I worked on the idea and
presented it to the head of application services and the CIO; and got it approved. But it was in addition to
my regular job. I even brought 4 willing colleagues onboard for development. And then in around 6 months
time it was ready to be rolled out. we started with pilot projects and then by 2015 end it was rolled out to
many Capita Subsidiaries. and it is catalogued as one of the Capita ITES offereings. How did you conceptualize, developed and sold.

IBM
Elicited and analysed requirements from users and functional consultants; assessed feasibility and estimated
effort.
We used Bottom Up technique, there was an additional template for estimation. We needed to find out the
type, complexity, linkages & dependencies of the objects which were required to be developed. I estimated
upto 400 hrs of sub-project, while I was there in IBM. Technique/ Template Used
Executed Solutioning and Business Process Improvement initiatives for clients from 5 different sectors across
globe and got multiple appreciations from clients for Quality and Prompt deliverables.
