1. Entry of Appearance

Good morning, Your Honor. We are Dannah Galindez and Lauren Ong of the Ateneo Legal
Services Center of the Ateneo Law School appearing under Rule 138-A of the Rules of Court,
udner the direct control and supervision of Attys. Enrique Mercado, Atty. Vinina Padilla, and
Atty. Joahnna Acheron. We are ready to present the second witness for the defense, Mr.
EDMER GARCIA, whose Judicial Affidavit dated 12 September 2018 was served and filed
also on 18 October 2019.

2. Direct Examination

2.1 Offer of Testimony

Your Honor, the testimony of the witness, EDMER GARCIA, is being offered to prove the
following:
a. That he was present at the house of accused to attend a wake;
b. That during the wake, private complainant hit him on the head, in front of other
people paying their respects to the deceased;
c. That private complainant’s unprovoked punch caused him to lose his balance and
fall;
d. To prove the circumstances that occurred after the supposed confrontation
between the accused and private complainant Galura; and
e. To prove all other matters as may be relevant and material to the defense of the
accused.

2.2 Identification of Judicial Affidavit
