SYLLABUS
PAPER-I
Objective: To evaluate that the applicants possess excellent advocacy and pleading skills
in English, Urdu and Information Communication Technology and have creative
vision
CONTENTS:
PAPER-II
Objective: To assess that the applicants have an excellent level of understanding of the
constitution and the principles of administrative law and possess the knowledge
of established principles of interpretation of Statutes, including the Constitution,
rules of Business & Secretariat Instructions.
Mode: the Paper shall be subjective as well as objective and problem based.
CONTENTS:
Part-I
Case-based study of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with
particular emphasis on:
The Fundamental Rights
The Rule of Law
The Law of Writs
The Emergency Provisions
The Executive
The legislatures and legislative powers
The judicature including Independence of Judiciary, Relations between
Federation and Provinces.
Part-II
Principles of Interpretation of Statutes: 20 Marks
Part-III
ADMINISTRATIVE LAW:
PAPER-III
Civil law (Subjective + Objective) (100 Marks)
OBJECTIVE: To assess the professional knowledge of, and insight into the civil law and
application of that knowledge as a lawyer
Mode: The paper shall be subjective as well as objective and problem based.
