Project Name TomTom - Test Automation Framework for a GPS device

app, System application etc.… Each of this application displays some UI on
the device.
The objective was to automate Comparison of two images. The images that
are being compared are; the image that is displayed on the Android
emulator with a reference image. This is to evaluate whether A screen is
displaying all the information required and If the data/info/widgets are
displayed at the correct position on the screen. This was achieved using
JUnit based where in each test case will do the following
Display a screen on the emulator
Capture screenshot image of the displayed screen and store in SD Card
Pull the image from the SD Card
Compare the captured Image with the reference Image. Comparison
happens on the PC side.
Generate the result of the Comparison in HTML format

Rainbow Application provides support for Social Networking (SN) sites like
Description
Facebook, Orkut, Flickr, Myspace, and Twitter in mobile. For these SNs, Rainbow
Application fetches data from network and displays Status updates, Photo
Updates, Video Updates, Application Updates, Profile Updates done by the
friends and the user. To differentiate the updates, this application provides
different color bars for updates. When the user taps on bars, then the bars are
converted into thumbnail view. Thumb nail view gives basic info of the update.
Again, on tapping on thumbnail view, detailed view screen displayed which
contains details of updates like SN type, Updater name, comment, likes,
comment count, action items.

Debug Interface (DBGIF) is responsible for handling Debug commands. Debug
Application is responsible for receiving debug commands on Linux console and
displaying the results to the user is referred to as Debug-App further. Debug
commands can be used to simulate actions/commands from OAM Application,
commands can also be used for diagnostic purposes where in some scenarios
can be tested executing commands on eNB(Evolved-UTRAN NodeB) from a
remote system for ensuring the proper working. L3RPCM: Creation, Initialization
(Initial configuration parameters provided by L3RPCM are read from XML),

handled Product Testing Change requests single handedly. World clock
application provides the user to see the time of a country’s city. It covers all time
zones and with DST (Daylight Savings Time). Notepad is an application so that
user can maintain notes and can set notes as remainder and can send notes
through SMS.
