Our present lives may be chaotic or feels like in the middle of a storm.

It does make us question

ourselves. We exert our energies on things we thought would fulfil our very own desires, but still feel
restless anyway. Somehow, we fail see how do we align our daily actions and values to what God desires
for all of us. It makes us think that just because things are out of control, we cannot attain peace. But
peace is actually rooted within and it does not blow away in changing winds. It does not go away even
when the storm has ripped the shelter from over your head. Why? Because, peace is grace coming from
our God.
Grace is not easy to believe in, so therefore, it is not easy to accept. It takes faith to believe that
grace is available to you, especially when we are in a world that is built on what you do, how well you do
it, and how important or valuable you are to the group or the system. It takes believing that beyond what
you see everyday in your life, yet still, there is more to that. Nonetheless, you can experience a life that is
woven in Light, despite shadows that seem to crowd around you.
Our God, who truly loves us, entered our lives to save us from wandering far from Him. He made
it possible to experience His love and grace through Jesus, who came in our world for a time, resided
amongst us and had first-hand experience of the struggles we are going through. People saw God in Jesus
and they were able to encounter His presence in the flesh. Jesus speaks the words of God and through it,
people understand that our God’s compassion. Thus, even though we are undeserving and made countless
mistakes, He is remains full of mercy and grace for us, His children. All we have to do is to let Jesus in to
our hearts and follow Him, for He is the Light that will lead us to our Father who eagerly waits for our
return.
This life can be beautiful, and terrifying, and a million things in between. And there will be
feelings that are hard to shape into phrases and there will be memories that are difficult and weighted, and
above all, there will always be grace rushing through you all the more...reminding you that even here,
there is so much more in store. And I just hope you know that even then, this is still a daily opportunity to
look for Light in everything. And this doesn’t mean that everything that ‘comes to light’ will make
everything make sense, but it does mean that within the Light, you will find hope. You will find love.
You will find peace that goes beyond understanding. So take heart. This world can be too much. But even
then, you are free to hope that Light will cast out the most persistent shadows.
