The aim of our “Read-for-a-Cause” is not just to encourage our students to

experience the delights of reading, but also to help raise money for a worthy
cause. We believe that books deserve passionate support in this age of
electronic media. During “Read-for-a-Cause”, children should be encouraged to
read as many books as possible during school hours and at home.

 Sponsor’s Parents and/or teachers must sign the pledge form every time a book
has been read.

Points per book (class average) to be deducted for non-participants.

We hope our “Read-for-a-Cause” will motivate our students to read for fun,
overcome reading obstacles and find more time to read.
Our aim is also to encourage our students to help the less fortunate and make
them realize, that there is something they can do to contribute. In the process,
we hope that they will learn that helping others can bring great rewards and a
sense of satisfaction with oneself.

Happy Reading! ☺
