EXPLORE
ACTIVITY 1: HOOK ACTIVITY (4 pics one word)
Instruction: The teacher will flash puzzle pictures that gives idea about science
ACTIVITY 2: WHAT ARE YOUR IDEAS?
Instruction: The student will write their initial knowledge using IRF model.
EQ: How can science affect our living? Is it beneficial or hindrance among humanity?

ACTIVITY 3: REFLECTION PAPER


There would biography selections about the contribution of different scientists around the
world. The students’ role is to reflect among their value, attitude or habit demonstrated that
we ourselves must have and how it will be conducive on our environment ad life itself.
ACTIVITY 4: REPORTING
After doing the activity, every group will present their findings in front of the class.
The teacher will evaluate their presentation afterwards.
ACTIVITY 5: KAIZEN
The teacher will conduct a game where students will constantly think of an idea how to improve
their strategy on identifying the missing card on a complete deck of cards.
The students will reflect how this activity relate on the development and reflection among
mankind’s living.
ACTIVITY 6: INITIAL CHECKING
The teacher will check the students’ initial knowledge about the topic before proceeding on the
discussion.

Instruction: The student will write their revised knowledge using IRF model.

ACTIVITY 8: PROBLEM SOLVING
The students will reflect about the process of solving a problem through experimentation and gain
experience in making observations.
The students will determine which factor affect an object’s rate of fall by dropping different
material on a same height and time.
ACTIVITY 9: REPORTING
After doing the activity, every group will present their findings in front of the class.
The teacher will evaluate their presentation afterwards, and discus answer the questions that
remained unanswered.

Through all the things discussed, the students will think of a common community/school problem
that they want to provide a solution or answer. They will adopt the process of making this research
scientifically.
The students will present their findings in front of the class after.

The students will make a graphic organizer that simplifies the ideas of the topic
