SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presented the summary of findings the conclusion implication and

recommendations based on the result of the study.

SUMMARY

This study, attempted to find out the effects of homework as activities as one way of

motivation in the academic performances of some senior high school student in AMPSC

students, during school year 2018. It sought to answer the following question; a) what are the

respondents profile in term of age, gender, year level, track, number of siblings, parents monthly

income; b) what is the level of the respondents response of the homework motivation.

This study used the descriptive survey method, with 60 respondents from the senior high

school of Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College AMPSC. This study also used the

percentage and frequency distribution of the respondents profile and the weighted mean to

determine the homework as activities as one way of motivation in the academic performances of

some senior consisted high school student in AMPSC 2018.

Also constructed questionnaire was used to gather data needed in the study. It was divide

into two parts. The first part dealt about the profile of the respondents in term of age, gender,

year level, strand, number of siblings, parents monthly income, and the second part is consisted

the proper questionnaire in order to know the Homework activities as one way of motivation in

the academic performances of some senior high school student in AMPSC during the school year

2018.

MAJOR FINDINGS

The following were the findings of this study.

 1. Most of the respondents belonged to 19 -20 years old.

2. A great majority of respondents were female.

3. Almost a majority of the respondents were TVL students.

4. Most of the respondents were grade 11.

5. A great majority of the respondents had a monthly income of 5,000 below.

6. All the respondents agree regarding on the homework motivation, with weighted mean

result (3.75) which is interpreted as agree.

CONCLUSIONS

The senior’s high school of Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College Agree on

homework activity can uplift their motivation.

This study revealed that some college in Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College

were more knowledgeable that homework activities as one way to improved their motivation

Moreover, the researcher concluded that homework activities can also make a student a

responsible one and can make a student’s active.

RECOMMENDATION

The following recommendations were imperative

1. The public school, teachers should strengthen their securities on their students regarding

on the homework in the house.

2. The teachers, should enchance their teaching capabilities and creativeness to make

learners have a better understanding of the lesson and the homework motivation. They

also adjust on the needs and difficulties of the students interactions and activities being

employed in very classroom setting and give appropriate suitable remedies.

3. The parents should make them aware of the innovations in education in order to prepare

their children. They should also know the advantages of the homework in the senior high

school.

4. The students, should be guided in teaching-learning process, the use of homework

should be guided by the teachers to avoid more disadvantage result.

5. The future researcher, should have to further study similar with the presents study on

homework activities as one way motivation.
