characteristics of typical and atypical child development
from birth through adolescence to help inform instructional
planning and learning experiences for all students.

Throughout this assignment, I
learned to value all the components
of a lesson that take part in the
learning of a student and how it
affects them. I believe that all
children are capable of being
successful in any subject in school
with the correct tools. From
students who have physical or
mental disabilities, to students who
might have a language barrier, all it
takes is about motivating those
students and using good teaching
strategies to help them meet their
needs.
It is crucial to give students all the
tools possible that we can in our
lessons.. Many of them will need
graphic organizers with big and
clear visuals that can help them
understand and make connections
on what they have to learn. I will
have word walls for those that have
a language barrier. I will also use
videos for introductory lessons that
will help those students that have
auditory learning styles.
I have learned that students of all types deserve
teachers who will design quality learning experiences
for them. As an English learner, I had teachers who
also incorporated many tools to help me learn the
lesson even with my language barrier. I will use all of
my positive experiences with my teachers to help me
create more possible experiences for my students as
well.

Practices
In order to lead my students to I will be incorporating I learned a lot in this assignment. I was able to think
success, I need to be aware of the technology, hands-on activities, of many different students and their challenges. I
material that I’m giving to my and collaborative sessions had to come up with ideas on how to meet all of
students. What content are they where my students will grow their needs at the same time. I was able to learn that
