Taking A Different Night ​Readers:​ Taking a Different Perspective: The Voices of the Victims. 11/4
Perspective
Taking on the persona as someone who survived a concentration camp, write a letter to
Adolph Hitler and the people of the world describing your experiences, denouncing the
injustice done to you, and expressing your hopes for a brighter future. Speak as a victim
of the Holocaust. What might he/she say about the experience? What message would
he/she say to the world, to the Nazis, to his/her family?

This assignment should be:

● At least two paragraphs
● Typed and printed

The Boy in the Striped Pajama​ readers:

1. After reading chapters 1-5, take on the persona of Bruno in order to

write a detailed letter from Bruno to his friends back in Berlin.
You do NOT need to use quotes in this letter because you are
pretending you are Bruno writing to his friends back in Berlin.
Use details from any chapters to show how Bruno feels about
moving, his new house, what he sees, etc. ​ Write from the
perspective of the childlike Bruno.
