MAINTAIN AIRCRAFT CONTROL:
Accomplish BOLDFACE
--OXYGEN-100%
-Breath of fresh air? -- Yes

ANALYZE THE SITUATION:

- Notice the flashing light in left T-handle accompanied with high EGT and
smoke = Left Engine Fire

TAKE THE PROPER ACTION:

Accomplish BOLDFACE.
-- THROTTLE - RETARD
-- FUEL SHUTOFF T-HANDLE - PULL-OFF
-- THROTTLE - CUT-OFF
-- Apply boldface by retarding the left throttle to idle, pulling the left fuel
shutoff t-handle to the off position, check that the F/F on drops to 100 PPH,
place left throttle in Cut-Off.
- Readjust Raight engine to 90% RPM
- Determine engine is shutdown and fire has been extinguished
- Reference checklist for clean-up items for both boldface
-Declare Emergency with ATC.
-Call SOF only if time and conditions permit. (If not available, request one)

LAND AS SOON AS CONDITIONS PERMIT:

- Fly a single-engine overhead.
- Land, full stop on the runway and emergency ground egress if required.
