Development Impact part 1 Now a days solar energy is being proved an

economical way of electricity in our home
land.Solar energy, due to high current and low
voltages, require designing of efficient
converter, inverters and controllers which is
impossible without getting sufficient and
proper knowledge.
As our home land listed in under developed
countries.Due to lack of knowledge certain
rules of safety in Electrical engineering is
avoided at house hold level which result in
certain fatal injuries and death, therefore i felt
intense need to achieve a post graduation
degree from developed countries to overcome
problems of energy as well as safety and to
implement the rules of safety and energy in
our home and which are implemented in
United Kingdom .

Development Impact part 2 After returning to home i will try to convey my

knowledge to other citizen of my country
through seminars in the universities and also
through social media to make my home land
especially my home town free of injuries due
to electricity.
Development Impact part 3 As the program i am applying for, is related to
designing of converters, inverters and
controllers so the outcomes will be proved
innovative in the field of energy production and
its utilization in a proper way to face the
challenging increase in the need of energy day
by day.
The implementation of any study is the real
outcome of the study and the time frame for its
implementation is the actual ability of the
student who has carried out the study. The
master level studies in electrical engineering
will make able to work in the firms for research
at international level and achieve the the goals
that are internationally demanded. so after
completing my studies i can soon go for its
implementation at national and international
level.
The beneficiary of my studies will at first my
home land and the then whole world. the new
discoveries and other development in my field
will be implemented internationally and will so
benefit the whole world.

Development Impact part 4 The impact of my work could be best

measured by the implementation of my work at
international level,and its conveyance to
others, including professionals as well as
students.

Career plans in the 5 years following the
award
My main focus during the award will to
improve communication skills and teamwork.
Working with nationals from different parts of
the world will be proved a suitable
environment to achieve such goals. In such an
environment, i will get a golden opportunity to
learn about personality building and self
presentation which are the key characteristics
of a professional life. The platform where
people from different nations work together
make a pool of different skills and new ideas,
so being a member such community will make
it best for me to explore and exploit a variety of
skills and new ideas and to know about in
which region of the world what are the
challenging demands related my field so that i
may work on the respective challenges in the
respective region region. And this platform will
also provide an opportunity to know about
different cultures so that i will become able to
work in various parts of the world.
After competing the master studies i will return
to my homeland to serve it with the outcomes
of this award. i will implement my studies in
the industry of my country to make it able to
fulfill the demands of international standards. i
will serve the student community of my country
by sharing the different skills and ideas that i
will be holding after availing the award, to
improve the education system. i will also work
to improve the consciousness of students
about how to avail the internationally offered
awards and about how to work with people
from different parts of the world. i will also
focus on their professional behavior to be
improved and will serve them to learn how
they contribute to the development in their
respective fields across the globe.
Long-term Career Plans For the five years following the award i will
stay in and work for the development of my
country be the implementation of the
outcomes of the award. Because my of
country is an under developed country and is
seeking the implementation of new advance
systems and ideas of international standard for
its development ,mainly in the industry and
education system. After five years of service i
will look for such like suitable program for
further studies so that i become able to serve
my nation as well as the whole world in a more
efficient way and to further proceed for new
researches and become able to make new
discoveries that could prove beneficial for the
whole world. And after completing my PhD i
have panned to work for such like awards so
that this lineage of serving the humanity, by
raising the students of under developed
countries to international standards continues.

subject without going into the depth of our
course subjects. To gain full command over
field subjects is impossible at graduate level
so that’s why I felt intense need to get
postgraduate degree to know further more in
the field of Electrical Engineering.

Unite kingdom because I want to study and
work with people of different nations and
countries belong to different cultures, so that I
become mentally fit to work and adjust in any
corner of the world without issues of nation,
language and cultures .Moreover due to worse
condition of our economy, our home land’s
universities have large tuition fees and other
expenses as result unfortunately I am
financially unable to continue higher
education in my home land.
I believe that this Program will provide me with
the chance to know with Electrical Engineering
and will make me able to use the advance
tools and techniques in the advancement of
our beloved country industries.

Personal Statement My name is Syed Asim Shah and belongs to
urban area of Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa,
Pakistan. I got graduation degree from one of
most prestigious institute of Pakistan i.e.
Comsats University of Information Technology
Islamabad, having 76 % marks in the field of
Electrical Electronics Engineering.
At graduate level we studied a lot of subjects
in which some are field related and some are
not and we just got intro of almost every
subject without going into the depth of our
course subjects. To gain full command over
field subjects is impossible at graduate level
so that’s why I felt intense need to get
postgraduate degree to know further more in
the field of Electrical Engineering.
In Our beloved country, Solar Energy now a

to improper knowledge it also uneconomical
.To face such problems it requires proper
knowledge and experience that’s why I have
decided to continue my study and get a master
degree in Electrical Control Systems
Engineering.
At my university life I worked under
supervision of most experienced professors on
three mega projects two semester projects
and one final year project which are: (1)
Obstacle Avoidance Robot using both
microcontroller and Arduino, (2) Interfacing
with LCD, (3) RPM Controller Design for DC
Motor using FPGA (Final year Project). In all
projects with bless of Almighty Allah I achieved
4 out of 4 GPA.
Why I have chosen foreign scholarship in
Unite kingdom because I want to study and
work with people of different nations and
countries belong to different cultures, so that I
 become mentally fit to work and adjust in any
corner of the world without issues of nation,
language and cultures .Moreover due to worse
condition of our economy, our home land’s
universities have large tuitions fees and other
expenses as result unfortunately I am
financially unable to continue my higher
education in my home land.
After completion of my master’s studies I hope
to be able to take part in maximizing my
country in such fields to benefit its economy
and enhance the living standards of my
compatriots. I believe that this Master’s
Program will provide me with the chance to get
to know with Electrical Engineering and will
make me able to use the advance tools and
techniques in the advancement of our beloved
country Pakistan’s industries. I hope that I can
gain more experience in dealing with
situations, peoples, systems and demands
which will be of a great help in my future
career.
