OBJECTIVE To obtain a teaching position with a school system where I will work to close the
achievement gap for all students.

TEACHING My teaching philosophy is to always set high expectations for students as it relates to
PHILOSOPHY academic and social goals. To ensure that my students achieve these goals, I commit to
creating an engaging, standards-based classroom (infusing technology) where I facilitate
students and work diligently to help them reach their academic goals.

 Supply taught (long-term subbed) in a special education vacancy from January
2015 – May 2015.
 Served on the IEP Team for 5 years.
 4 years of service to one of the biggest school districts in Georgia.
 Mentored/trained new special education teachers in their roles.
