Dwight Eisenhower was born in Denison, Texas on October 14, 1890. He was the third of seven sons his parents would have. His father David Eisenhower cleaned train engines for a living. Prior to his birth, his family lived in Abilene, Kansas. When Dwight was One and a half years old they moved back to Kansas, his father would take a better job at his brother-in-laws creamery. Eisenhower graduated high school then joined in father and uncle at the creamery for work. Eisenhower worked there to raise money to pay for his brother Edgar’s college education at the university of Michigan. The deal stated Dwight would work to get money to pay for Edgars college, then two years later Edgar would work to support Dwight through college. ● Education Dwight ended up having a free tuition to the United States Military Academy in West point. He also graduated High school.
