Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.

Turtles are reptiles. They are cold-blooded animals. They have a hard shell covering their
bodies. The shell may be rounded or flat. They can be in the colour of mud, green, or
brown.

Turtles live in the deep ocean. They have flippers which help them to swim. They do
not give birth to their youngs but they lay eggs. During the egg-laying season, the female
turtles crawl up to the beach to dig a hole to lay their eggs in ​it​. After that, they cover the
hole before returning to the ocean.

Some of the well-known turtles are the leatherback turtles, the green turtles and the
hawksbill turtles.

Thank you for your Chinese New Year e-card. It is really lovely. I have printed
and put it inside my card album with the rest of my favourite cards.

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting all our relatives in Melaka during
the Chinese New Year holidays. We went by car. The drive was quite pleasant as
we can look at the greeneries planted along the road. There were some historical
places to visit, too. Most of the people in Melaka had gone back to their
hometowns for the long break so there was not much traffic on the road.

I was glad when we finally arrived at my uncle's house in Durian Tunggal. His
wife served us lunch the minute we stepped into the house. The steamed fish and
the dumplings were very delicious. We were also served with Mandarin oranges
and spring rolls. We ate heartily as the journey made us really hungry.

That evening, we went visiting other relatives living in Alor Gajah, Bukit
Beruang and Duyong. We stayed in Durian Tunggal for two days before we
headed back home. I was very happy visiting my relatives and look forward to
visiting them again soon.
