Having identified the KSAOs or competencies required for your position in the
assignment 2, now as a part of the assignment 3, you are suggested to do the
following:

1. Which KSAOs are to be considered for selecting a candidate for the position
assuming that you planned to do external selection?

Ans: In the previous assignment, I’ve identified following KSAOs required for my
previous role (Manager, Mine Planning). Few KSAOs are essentials while selecting
a new candidate while others can be developed by coaching, and mentoring.

Ans:

Initial Assessment method

1. Resume: Each candidate would be asked to upload resume which should have
educational qualification, work experience, major projects and personal details.
2. Interview through video conferencing: Post resume short listing by a competent
committee, I would propose first level of interview which would bring candidate list
down to ten.

Substantive Assessment method

Ten candidates would be selected for final round and method listed in following table would
be considered for substantive assessment.
