The Book Of John John 7:1-5

After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews were
seeking to kill him. Now the Jews’ Feast of Booths was at hand. So His brothers said to Him, “Leave
here and go to Judea, that your disciples also may see the works you are doing. For no one works in
secret if he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world. For not
even His brothers believed in Him.

There’s a Word for that! Forgive

Forgiveness frees us from anxiety and renews our spirit. Be quick to confess for we serve a gracious

God Who cleanses us. May we be known as forgivers on our campus.

1 John 1:9– If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord for being so gracious to us. We
want to confess our sins quickly and bring them to
You, the only One Who can forgive us completely
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord, will

You help us to be forgivers to those who have

offended us, especially the students, our colleagues
and our administrators. Show us Lord how to
forgive when it seems impossible. You are so

faithful and just to forgive us. We stand in awe of

the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from our sin. We
bow before You in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer, posture and Practicalities
1:16 PM prayer prompt – Please pray that we may see our students as image bearers even when
they do not act like it.
Six S Prayer Method – S #1 – is subject by subject. All members of the group pray about one
subject at a time all the way around the group. S #2 – is short sentences. Prayers that are short
are more encouraging to new members and will give more people the opportunity to pray.
