DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS on Sunday, November
3rd. Please don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on
Saturday, November 2nd before going to bed.
NATIVITY FAST BEGINS on Thursday, November 28th. This
fast will take us up to the feast of the Nativity of Our Lord on
January 7th. Please make an effort to prepare yourself for the
Glorious Feast of the Nativity. A way in which this can be done
is by fasting!
BLESSED THANKSGIVING: The clergy and Parish Council
send their best wishes to you and your families for a Blessed
Thanksgiving! Be mindful that this day is a special day when
we get together with our families and share the bounty of love
that is showered upon us by Our Lord and Savior! May the
Good Lord send His Blessings upon you and your families and
may He grant you peace, prosperity and Good Health for
many Blessed Years! Happy Thanksgiving!
ARCHPASTORAL VISIT: His Eminence Archbishop
Michael, Archbishop of New York and New Jersey Diocese,
will be with us on Saturday, November 16th and Sunday,
November 17th for his annual Archpastoral visit. This will be a
wonderful visit and a chance to greet our Beloved Archbishop
Michael. Please mark this weekend on your calendar and join
us for both Vespers on Saturday night followed by a dinner in
the Parish Home. On Sunday, November 17th a Hierarchical
Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by His Eminence and invited
clergy. We invite you our faithful to be in attendance both
days!
ARCHPASTORAL VISITATION DINNERS: If you would
like to sponsor a dinner, please see Matushka Ludmila at the
candle desk. We will need a sponsor for Saturday evening and
another sponsor for Sunday’s dinner. Each sponsorship cost is
$300 per dinner! Your help in this matter is greatly
appreciated!
FLOWER DONATION’S: If you would like to help cover the
expenses for flowers for this occasion, please see Matushka
Ludmila at the candle desk.
GENERAL CONFESSION will be held on the first Sunday of
the month, November 3rd at 9:30 AM. We all are called to
confess our sin’s as we know not when the Good Lord will call
us home to our Eternal reward! Be Prepared!
DEMETRIUS SOUL SATURDAY will be celebrated on
Saturday, November 2nd with a Divine Liturgy at 10 AM
followed by Panikhida for the departed.
NEWSLETTER SPONSORS: Newsletter Sponsors are
needed! If you would like to sponsor the Newsletter for a
month the cost is only $50.00. We would appreciate your help
in sponsoring this great initiative that has been a vital tool in
spreading the good will of our parish.
PARISH DUES FOR 2019 are due by December 31st. In order
to be a member in good standing for this year it is important to
keep this obligation in place. Cost for dues is only $175.00.

HEATING DONATIONS: As the winter season approaches we
are seeking donations to cover the heating expenses for this
coming winter. Please make an effort to help us defray the cost
of heat by seeing Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk.
TREE ON PARISH HOME was cut down this past week. Total
cost for this project was $1,000. If anyone can sponsor this
project it would be greatly appreciated.
