INVERTER LCD FRONT PANEL USER MANUAL

BUTTONS

MENU SELECT BUTTONS

MENU SELECT buttons are used to navigate between menus.

MENU SET BUTTONS

MENU SET buttons are used to make settings on menus. USE “UP” button to set the parameter
on the upper side and use DOWN button to set the parameters on the below.
Buttons are operated by pushing and holding for 1 second. After making the adjustments /setting
by using UP and DOWN buttons, settings can be saved by using RIGHT button. To cancel the
menu without saving, LEFT button is used.
MENU SET buttons increase the parameter. After parameter reaches to the maximum value,
parameter value will go back to the minimum and keep increasing from the minimum to
maximum again. So, for decreasing a parameter, value must be increased to maximum and after
reaching to minimum, desired value can be achieved by increasing the parameter from minimum.

NOTE-1: The values below are chosen for inverter with 1 phase bypass input, 144V DC input, 1
phase output.
NOTE-2: The values signed with RED are the values that can be adjusted by MENU SET
buttons. After parameter setting is finished, RIGHT button will save and navigate to the next
menu and LEFT button will navigate to the previous menu without saving. To operate the
buttons, push to the button and hold for 1 sec.

Date and time is adjustable by using UP and DOWN
buttons. UP button is for navigation between menus and
DOWN button is to increase.

MENU -9: Event History and Monitoring Window

The events on the history can be monitored from this menu.
Maximum 250 last events are stored. There are 29 different
event codes. In the example on the left side, first event is

shown from 32 events in total. All events can be monitored
  using UP and DOWN buttons.
7 : Event Code   180 : Event Value  3 : Day
  4 : Month    12 : Hour     35:  Minute
Event history can be erased by pushing to the RIGHT button
for 20 seconds. This action will reset the software to the

factory settings.
Explanations of the event codes are given as below:

software to the factory settings.
INVERTER FRONT PANEL STATUS & ALARM INDICATIONS

Bypass/Mains and Inverter Output is not synchronous. While this LED is

active, transfer between Inverter and Bypass will be inhibited

DC bus voltage value is higher than maximum (or lower than minimum)
DC Bus voltage value. If this LED becomes on, then the Inverter will be
shut down.

By-Pass voltage is out of the operating range (+/-%15). In this case, load
will not be transferred from inverter to bypass and if inverter is “OFF”,
inverter does not start and become “ON”.

Battery fuse is in “OFF” position or By-Pass SCR Fuse is

tripped (open circuit). In this case, load will not be
transferred from inverter to bypass and if inverter is “OFF”,
inverter does not start and become “ON”.
DC input fuse is in “OFF” position.

Output load current exceeds %100 load current limit. In this condition,
the operating periods are as follow: %100-%125 10min., %125-%150 1
min., %150-%300 5 sec., at %300 0 sec.

Device internal temperature exceeds 55°C. If temperature do not return to

normal conditions in 2 min., the device will shut down itself.

The fast acting fuse which protects the IGBT modules is tripped (open
circuit).

If the temperature of the cooler on the By-Pass and Output Thyristors

exceeds 70°C, this LED flashes continuously. After 1,5 min., the device
shut downs itself and this LED remains “ON” permanently.

Inverter output voltage is higher than the voltage range of +%15 due to
an unexpected situation.

Inverter output voltage is lower than the voltage range of -%15 due to an
unexpected situation.
If the temperature of the cooler on the IGBT modules exceeds 70°C, this
LED flashes continuously. After 1,5 min., the device shut downs itself and
this LED remains “ON” permanently.

The load is supplied through By-Pass.

DC bus voltage value is between the input DC range of Inverter.

The load is supplied through Inverter.

Device is shut down due to a failure. If this LED is “ON” then, one or more
red (failure) LEDs must be “ON” as well, depending on the reason of the
failure.

Inverter can be started without Bypass while this mode is active.

The system is in OFF-LINE mode. As long as the Bypass/Mains voltage

is present, load is supplied through By-Pass. When Bypass/Mains voltage
is out of range, load is transferred to inverter without interruption and
load is supplied continuously.

This UPS is in Auto ON mode which enables to automatically start the

UPS if the UPS shut down itself due to an alarm (except the red LED
alarms) and afterwards returns back to normal conditions.

Transfer Switch (3 Position) is on Maintenance Bypass Mode.
If the inverter is “ON” and Transfer switch position is changed
to  Maintenance  Bypass  Mode,  then  Inverter  will  be  shut
down automatically and will not start as long as Maintenance
switch is “ON”.
