SANGGUNIAN RESOLUTION NO. 2013-008

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MAYOR DALE B. CORVERA TO
SIGN CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF
CABADBARAN AND ENGINEER AILEEN R. VALLES-POLINAR

WHEREAS, City Mayor Dale B. Corvera requested the August Body for an
authority to sign Contract between the City Government of Cabadbaran and Aileen R.
Valles-Polinar, Private Geodetic Engineer, for the conduct of a relocation survey of a
parcel of land;

WHEREAS, the tapping of surveying services of Engineer Aileen R. Valles-

Polinar is in accordance to the Order issued by Judge Gael P. Paderanga of Regional
Trial Court, Branch 34, City of Cabadbaran in relation to the pending case docketed as
Civil Case No. OC-08-01, entitled “ Lilian Sanchez de Jesus vs the City of Cabadbaran”
for recovery of possession of a certain parcel of land allegedly owned by the
Sanchez Family and over which portions of the present City Hall and other LGU-
owned building stand;

WHEREAS, Engr. Aileen R. Valles-Polinar conducted the relocation survey last

July 16, 2013 and pegged her professional services in the amount of Fifteen
Thousand Pesos (P 15,000.00) per Statement of Account which is to be shared
equally, as agreed upon by both parties, the LGU and the Sanchez family, thereby, each
party has to pay an equivalent amount of Seven Thousand Five Hundred
Pesos (P 7,500.00) representing its counterpart in the said professional fee, receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged by the surveyor to her full and complete satisfaction.

NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED, by the 3rd Sangguniang Panlungsod, in its 4th Regular

Session assembled, to authorize City Mayor Dale B. Corvera to sign a Contract by
and between the City Government of Cabadbaran and Engineer Aileen R. Valles-
Polinar.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to forward a copy of this Resolution to

Hon. Dale B. Corvera, City Mayor for his information and appropriate action.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to provide copies of this Resolution to the City

Budget Officer; the City Accountant; and the City Treasurer, all of this City for
information.
