SANGGUNIAN RESOLUTION NO. 2013-007

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MAYOR DALE B. CORVERA TO

SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF CABADBARAN AND LAND BANK OF THE
PHILIPPINES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LIVELIHOOD LOAN
FACILITY

WHEREAS, City Mayor Dale B. Corvera requested the August Body for an
authority to sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City Government
of Cabadbaran and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) for the implementation of the
Livelihood Loan Facility to be availed by the qualified applicants-employees of LGU
Cabadbaran;

WHEREAS, it can be recalled that the City Government of Cabadbaran and Land
Bank of the Philippines had already forged a MOA regarding the latter’s loan facility of
which most if not all employees of the City had able to access the said loan;

WHEREAS, Land Bank of the Philippines has been a long time partner of the
City Government of Cabadbaran in carrying out programs that would help alleviate the
living condition of the local employees through financial assistance, hence, it came up
with a new livelihood loan facility that offers better features compared to other
financing institutions;

WHEREAS, after careful evaluation and study of the provisions stipulated

under this new livelihood loan facility by Land Bank of the Philippines, the Body finds it
interesting than the previous one as the terms and conditions are made favorable
to the employees of the City who wish to avail the said loan.

NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED, by the 3rd Sangguniang Panlungsod, in its 4th Regular

Session assembled, to authorize City Mayor Dale B. Corvera to sign the
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by and between the City Government of
Cabadbaran and Land Bank of the Philippines for the implementation of the
Livelihood Loan Facility.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to forward a copy of this Resolution to

Hon. Dale B. Corvera, City Mayor for his information and appropriate action.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to provide copies of this Resolution to the

Branch Head of Land Bank of the Philippines Cabadbaran Branch; to the City
Budget Officer; the City Accountant and the City Treasurer, all of this City for
information.
