Families Matter in Watton

Hello! My name is Marianne Starling and may I
say what a pleasure it is to be joining a
wonderful Church at the heart of a vibrant
community. I am extremely excited to begin
this new position in my home town and I look
forward to growing and developing the role
alongside the people that will be utilising it.
Huge thanks must go to all those who have
been hard at work behind the scenes
fundraising, organising and supporting this
new pioneering position for two whole years!
It is a real privilege to be part of something
that has grown up out of, and been so well
supported by the community which it will
now provide for too.
Our partnership with the Benjamin
Foundation and Town Council establishes the
'Watton Community Hub'. Providing a central
community space for all ages in the town.
The potential in this collaboration is
overflowing and has me feeling like a child in
the run up to Christmas, I could just go POP!
with excitement. Again, another venture
developed by the community and for the
community and is a real testament to the
power of people. What an exciting time for
Watton and a real blessing to be a part of it
all.
Very much looking forward to what we can
do together. ~ Alone we can do so little;
together we can do so much ~ Helen Keller
