pattern notes:

• Important - When working your granny stripe rows, the trebles are worked into the spaces between the
stitches of the previous row. The chart and the photographs show where the stitches should be placed.
• ch2 at the beginning of the row counts as the first stitch throughout.
• ch1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch throughout.
• Odd numbered rows are right side rows.
• If you find your V stitch section of the scarf (rows 16-24) is gathering in slightly then change to a 5.5mm
hook for the V stitch sections only. Alternatively, you could block your scarf before you join it but please
remember the edging will also help to pull the scarf into shape.
• The pattern is fully customisable, if you prefer not to join your scarf, continue with the pattern repeats
until you reach your desired length. You could also add fringes at both ends! Please bear in mind this will
use more yarn!
• The pattern is worked in multiples of 3+5 so you can make your scarf wider/narrower should you wish.
