• Provide technical and clinical expertise, educational and field support to ensure the safe
adoption of Inspire therapy’s sleep apnea innovations, implants and products.
• Provides technical and clinical expertise during the evaluation for therapy, device
implantation in the operating room and post implant care follow up phases of Inspire therapy.
• Clinically competent in both circulating and scrub nurse roles in the daVinci service specialty.
• Assists OR staff to achieve their potential as members of an effective and specialized team
through innovative management practices and facilitating interactive team building.
• Experience supporting, developing and growing daVinci programs through continuing
education and in services for staff members, and actively recruiting and onboarding new
physicians.

• Verifies surgery, identifies the patient and operative site. Ensures informed consent and
history and physical are complete and present according to hospital policy guidelines. Initiates
and/or actively participates in the Universal Protocol procedures that assure correct site
surgery.
• Communicates clearly all pertinent patient information to other members of the health care
team.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback and conflict resolution skills in all
interpersonal interactions. Works effectively and constructively with co-workers and
physicians.
• Ability to scrub and circulate all daVinci specialties as well as trouble shoot both Xi and Si
daVinci consoles.
• Demonstrates ability to scrub and circulate both open and laparoscopic cases including,
colorectal, general, gynecology, urology, urogynecology, oncology, vascular, pediatrics, and
ENT. Ability to circulate orthopedics cases, and ability to scrub minor orthopedics
procedures. Some experience in circulating cardiac cases and ability to scrub leg vein harvest
for bypass cases.
• Works with diverse populations including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and
geriatrics and integrates individual patient/family preferences into the plan of care.
