Part 1: After checking the Unit 1 Topic 2: Modal Verbs, write 1 sentence using each
one of the modal verbs regarding your duties and rights as UNAD student: can –
could – may - must - should - ought to – have to – need to- had better - would.

-I can not present as my own work the whole or part of a writing, report, task or
document of invention performed by another person.
- All the participations must be written directly in the forum.

- Consolidate activities and the texts (Step 1 to 4). PDF file which will be sent at
Monitoring and Evaluation Environment.

-I should Write a text about how I imagine yourself in ten years.

-You may use your communication channels: Tutor - Course Director.

-We will learn English

-I should not allow someone to take my place to develop activities in the course

-I ought to study and be responsible for the activities accordance with the Course
Agenda more often

-You must have to read the messages published in the News Forum and the
messages sent in the Internal Mail by the tutor and the course director two times a
day.

Part 2: According to the topic Past Progressive (Unit 1: Topic 3), each student must
write 5 things you were doing recently and 5 things you were not:

1.- I was sleeping in my house.

2.- I was eating a sandwich.
3.- I was studying when the phone rang.
4.- I was looking for my keys.
5.- I was having my drive lesson.
 1.- I was not resting, I was working!
2.- I was not sleeping.
3.- I was not practising my favorite sport.
4.- I was not drinking beers last night.
5. I wasn’t watching his favorite television program.

Part 3: Write a text about how you imagine yourself in ten years. Use at least two
pictures related to your text. You should write four paragraphs:

Example: I will work in a multimedia company in New York.

Paragraph 1: Introduce yourself.

Paragraph 2: Your working life.
Paragraph 3: Your loved life.
Paragraph 4: Your sporting life.

I must write a text about how I imagine yourself in ten years.

My personal presentation

- Hi. My name is Fabián Mauricio Mayorca Mantilla, I was born in Barrancabermeja.

I'm 37 years old. I am a student at the university - UNAD. I will be an excellent
professional. I will study every day.

I am married and have two children, my wife is Eidy, she is a wonderful woman and
an excellent professional and the children are Sebastian and Mateo. They are 9 and
3 years old. Sebastian goes to school and Mateo to the kindergarten.

My working life.

-Continuing my presentation, I would like to tell you that I have been working in a
state-owned oil company called ECOPETROL for more than 4 years as a plant
operator.

For my future in a period of 10 years, I would like to be active in the labor field and
achieve a pension or retirement that allows me economic stability for my family.
I wish I could travel the world knowing many places.
I will travel to many places when I stop working.
I would like to go to Japan, if I had the money

My loved life.

-My love life is based on my family and the greatest desire in the future is to be able
to see my children realized, they can be great professionals and I could enjoy their
triumphs and accomplishments.

My son Sebastian could become a good footballer, because he is training hard to

achieve it. He may be able to train in a good soccer league.

I might as well go to another city since there’s no one else here.

My sporting life.

-In my sporting life I have never stood out in a specific sport, I could play soccer as
a child.

I like football (My favorite team is Atlético Nacional) I also like to watch TV and go to
movie theaters with my children. I should go to the gym every day, but my work
does not allow me, for that reason I only attend 3 times a week.

This subject is very difficult and I have some problems to keep up.
Part 4: Students must comment about two partners’ contributions and make
