The name indicates what the database is. A database is one of the
important components for many applications and is used for storing
a series of data in a single set. In other words, it is a group/package
of information that is put in order so that it can be easily accessed,
manage and update.
2. Objectives
Software applications and software development have been evolving
ever since with increasing speed of change. So the professions of
software engineering and management require continuous learning
and experience sharing.
Database management systems have made a revolution in modern
society. Business houses are making huge profits just because of
database management system. DBMS provides a lot benefits in all
spheres of human activity – the objectives are manifold. The main
objectives of database management system are data availability, data
integrity, data security, and data independence.
3. Motivation
As the rate of unemployment is increasing this will provide the
platform to the job seekers so that they can get their job as per their
skills and will provide an easy way for the companies For
recruitment and this can prove very beneficial to the companies
which are a start up or are struggling hard to get over there start up
phase as this could give them exposure to the talent and by this
people can get there jobs and find a salary according to there worth
4. Related work
A database is an organized collection of data, generally stored and
accessed electronically from a computer system. Where databases
are more complex they are often developed using formal design and
modeling techniques.
The database management system (DBMS) is the software that
interacts with end users, applications, and the database itself to
capture and analyze the data. The DBMS software additionally
encompasses the core facilities provided to administer the database.
The sum total of the database, the DBMS and the associated
applications can be referred to as a "database system". Often the
term "database" is also used to loosely refer to any of the DBMS,
the database system or an application associated with the database.
Computer scientists may classify database-management systems
according to the database models that they support. Relational
databases became dominant in the 1980s. These model data
as rows and columns in a series of tables, and the vast majority
use SQL for writing and querying data. In the 2000s, non-relational
databases became popular, referred to as NoSQL because they use
different query languages.
Here we require the work which is already being done in the fields
of database and Android. The research work done in the field of
software development will be useful
5. Plan of work
First we need to create a a database from the the company(both in
and outside the country) side which will include all the vacancies
which are present in the company and another database which has
the list of the people which are interested in taking a job then and we
will match the requirements of both company and the job seeker and
if there is a match then and we will notify both company as well as
the job seeker so that an interview can be generated
