responded to this study in order to complete our data.

The researchers dedicated this study to their parents as well as to all their families

researchers morally and emotionally in the journey in making this study.

ABSTRACT

The researchers conducted this study entitled “Perception in the use of non-plastic
materials in selling and in packaging products in the Municipality of Libertad. The
participants or the respondents in this study were Libertadnon sellers and consumers.
Points that are discussed in this study will be exploring the views and opinions of the
Libertadnon sellers and consumers about the effects of plastic in using it in selling and in
packaging products. Additionally, this study was explored the insights of Libertadnon
sellers and consumers regarding on how many are agree in using plastic materials as
packaging in products and what is the reason why the sellers and consumers use plastic in
selling and packaging. The researchers used survey method to obtain the needed data and
to determine the overall totality of how many consumers are agreeing in using non-plastic
materials in selling and in packaging products. The researchers also used descriptive
analysis to investigate the data taken from 100 Libertadnon sellers and consumers
respondents from the main barangays of Centro Weste and Este, from barangay Union and
Pajo. After investigating the data gathered by the researchers, the findings of the study
showed that mostly all Libertadnons are agree in using non-plastic materials in selling and
in packaging products. So it is necessary to improve the prohibition of banning plastic
materials in selling and in packaging products for its harmful effects in the year 2019 and
to the future. Consequently, the researchers concluded that the municipality of Libertad
possesses a great chance to become an eco-friendly town and to all residence of Libertad to
become creative in making alternative bags such banig bag, so it will help the environment
and especially to the producers of banig, to help them financially and to promote the
nativity of Municipality of Libertad.
