 Visit Majnu ka Tila community and conduct activity with the group of children.
 Visit yamini’s home and ask them for the progress in admission process.
 Meet chandini and discuss regarding the government job.
 Visit Sarvodaya School and ask queries regarding admission procedure in school.

Work Done

 I visited Sarvodaya School at Lucknow Road where I met principal sir and introduced
myself to him. I told him about the drop out students and asked him procedure
regarding their admission although I had read what all are the requirements for the
admission but the principal sir told me that this school don’t take students from majnu
ka tila community and I should admit them in nagar nigam school situated at majnu
ka tila. He also told me that we don’t admit drop out students and he didn’t even
explain me why he is not ready to admit them in this school. He also mentioned that
we all admit students from timarpur. When I start arguing him that this is a
government school and I have never heard anything like this before he said that all
schools are divided area wise. He was only making excuses and was not giving any
logical reason for not admitting drop out children.
 I visited yamini’s home and met her mother. She told me that they were not able to go
to school because his husband was busy in some urgent work and they were facing
difficulty in knowing how to reach at lady Noyce School, feroze shah kotla branch. I
wrote down address and suitable transport for them and mentioned all the certificates
which they need to submit at the time of admission her mother told me they will go
day after tomorrow.
 I met chandini at “E- block”park where we discussed why she has not join Roghar
Ayurvedic” she told me it was little bit difficult for her to travel at Jhangirpuri daily.
She also want to prepare for government job and as she is in her last year of
graduation so she is also worried about her marks.
 I conducted puzzle activity with the group of children. I used the puzzle which I made
for autism awareness day. I used ice cream sticks and water colours for making puzzle
in which different shapes, fruits and object was drawn by me. I conducted this activity
in a group so that they can learn how to do exercise in a group and can maintain good
relation with each other while working.

Observation

 While talking to sir about the admission of dropout children I noticed that he was
hesitating for admitting any drop out children in his school and was making lame
excuses. I observed he felt that the quality of students will get effected if they
admit dropouts. The behaviour of principal was not very ethical towards the
matter of dropout students and if this kind of behaviour is continued by the
government school teachers and principal then it is impossible to decrease the rate
of drop out children.
 In the case of Chandini, while talking to her I observed that the zeal to do job
which she has shown me earlier was not there anymore. She is now more
interested in government job.
 While conducting the puzzle activity with the group of children I focused on the
group dynamics. I observed how they all were behaving with each other and how
the Psycho Social learning was taking place in between the activity. The “group as
a whole unit” was a major focus of my observation and I noticed that they have
divided a puzzles according to colour. Two children felt neglected as they shared
that they were not provided equal opportunity for participation as some students
were more excited and wanted to make every puzzle by themselves.
Analysis

 Theory of group dynamics: It is a "system of behaviors and psychological processes

occurring within a social group or between social groups." In other words, it is the
study of the behaviour of individuals in groups, how they become members and how
they react to others in the group.
 Puzzles are the important learning educational tool for children as they provide may
skills and mental learning opportunities and benefits.
Puzzles are a great educational tool to enhance and promote cooperative play. As
children work together to complete a puzzle, they will discuss where a piece should
go and why, take turns and share and support each other when handling frustration,
then sharing the joy of finishing the puzzle.
The accomplishment of achieving a goal brings so much satisfaction to a
child. Overcoming the challenges involved in solving a puzzle really gives them a
sense of achievement and pride within themselves. It provides a boost to their self-
confidence and self-esteem as this prepares them for other challenges in life.
