Electric Hoist Instruction Manual

I. Model, Use and Adaptation Range

This series of electric hoists is a light and small lifting device based on the CD1 electric hoist. It is available
in CD and MD models. CD type 0.5t-5t electric hoist lifting speed (8m/min); MD type 0.5t-5t lifting speed
(8m/min) and (0.8 m/min), CD type 10t lifting speed (7 m/min) ); MD type 10t lifting speed (7 m / min) and
(0.7 m / min), CD104 type 16 (20) t lifting speed (3.5 m / min); MD104 type 16 (20) t lifting speed ( 3.5 m/min)
and (0.35 m/min).

(2) Use

CD and MD electric hoists (hereinafter referred to as hoists) are used for mounting on overhead I-beam
rails (straight lines, curves) or fixed on the frame to lift various heavy objects. Often associated with electric
single beam, electric double girder bridge, hoist gantry cranes. Widely used in factories, mines, railways,
terminals, warehouses and service industries. It is a lifting device that can be used in a variety of working
conditions. It is especially suitable for the following tasks:

1. For public facilities, construction lifting and handling...

2, used in machining factories, equipment installation, loading and unloading of parts on machine tools,
handling of finished products...

3, for assembly line production...

4, used as a simple lifting device, carrying goods, lifting goods...

(3) Range of adaptation

The CD and MD electric hoists are general-purpose wire rope electric hoists with a standard working level
of M3, a continuous power rate of 25%, and an equivalent starting time of no more than 120 times per hour.

The main circuit of the hoist is rated at 380 VAC and rated at 50 Hz.

The working environment temperature of the hoist is –25°C~+40°C.

The hoist is not suitable for places filled with corrosive gases or relative humidity greater than 85%. It
cannot replace the explosion-proof hoist. It is not suitable to lift molten metal or toxic, flammable or
explosive materials.

II. Structure Principle

The electric hoist is composed of a conical rotor motor, a reducer, a reel device, a coupling, a rope guide,
a hook device, an electric trolley, a driving device and an electric appliance. The components can be
relatively independent in structure and convenient for maintenance and adjustment.
1. ZD 1 type three-phase AC conical rotor motor is the motive force for electric hoist lifting. ZDY1 type
three-phase AC conical rotor motor is the motive force of electric trolley, and its rotor and stator are both
tapered. This series of motors is rated for intermittent operation, with a load continuation rate of 25% and
an equivalent number of starts per hour of 120.

2. The structure of the conical rotor motor has the characteristics of generating axial magnetic pulling force
(see Fig. 9). The brake friction plate 4 is mounted on the fan brake wheel 3, and the lock nut 2 and the screw
1 fasten the fan brake wheel. At the rear end of the rotor shaft of the motor. When starting, the magnetic
pulling force overcomes the pressure of the spring 5, so that the rotor and the fan brake wheel integrally
connected with the rotor generate axial displacement, the brake ring and the rear end cover 6 are
disengaged, and the rotor is free to rotate (ie, working state). After the power is cut off, the magnetic pull
force disappears. Under the action of the pressure spring, the fan brake wheel and the end cover are braked,
and the friction generated by the tapered surface is obtained to obtain the braking effect. When braking
under rated load, the weight sliding distance should not exceed 1/100 of the lifting speed. Otherwise,
adjustment should be made. When adjusting, loosen the screw 1 and tighten the nut 2 to increase the
pressure of the spring 5 to obtain a larger braking torque. The adjustment gap C is generally 1.5 mm. It can
be measured by repeated starting and observing the axial movement of the motor shaft. The gap adjustment
method for the CD 10 ton and CD 104-16 (20) ton conical motors is the reverse of the above method.

3. The reducer adopts three-stage deceleration of cylindrical helical gears. The drive unit adopts cylindrical
spur gear secondary deceleration, and the gear and gear shaft are made of alloy structural steel and heat
treated. The housing is made of cast iron, the assembly is tight, and dust is not easy to invade.

4. The MD type electric hoist is the same as the CD type electric hoist except that the hoisting motor is
replaced by a double motor unit. The dual motor unit consists of a main hoisting motor 1, a slow hoisting
motor 2 and a slow drive. When the main hoisting motor is working, the slow-speed drive does not move
and the electric hoist runs fast because the slow-lifting is not in the braking state. When the slow hoisting
motor is working, the main hoisting motor conical rotor is rotated by the slow driving device. At this time,
the main hoisting motor is not in the braking state, and the electric hoist is running slowly, thus generating
two lifting speeds.

5. Rolls of 0.5 tons, 1 ton, 2 tons, 3 tons and 5 tons are made of cast iron when the lifting height is 6 meters to
12 meters; when the lifting height is more than 12 meters, they are made of seamless steel tubes. One end of
the reel is connected to the reducer via a spline, and the other end is connected to the bearing position of the
end cover of the main motor via the reel bearing frame. The wire rope is wound in the rope groove of the
reel, and the rope end is fastened to the reel by the pressure rope plate. When the wire rope is replaced, only
the motor needs to be started, so that the pressure rope plate bolt is exposed at the gap of the reel casing and
can be removed.

6. The hook device of 0.5 tons, 1 ton, 2 tons, 3 tons and 5 tons is a single pulley type; the 10-20 ton hook
device is a double pulley type. The pulley is made of cast iron; the hook is forged from high-quality carbon
structural steel, suspended in a single thrust thrust ball bearing in the beam, and connected to the pulley
through the beam and the hook shell.
7. The rope guide is composed of a guide rope nut, a guide rope plate and a connecting steel belt. The guide
nut is cut into 5 pieces and connected by a connecting steel strip and a guide rope. The wire rope projects
from the elongated slot of the guide rope. The guide nut is engaged with the reel groove, and the reel rotates
to drive the guide nut to move laterally, thereby ensuring that the wire is not buckled in the reel groove.

The guide rope plate moves laterally to both ends of the reel. When the limit position is reached, the limit
rods mounted on the reel casing are moved together, and the limit position is touched to the limit position to
act as a limit switch.

When the electric hoist is working, the heavy objects should be lifted vertically. If it is necessary to pull up
and hoist, the general diagonal pull is not allowed to deviate from the thread groove of the coil by ±3.5°,
otherwise the wire rope will be buckled and the rope guide will be damaged.

8. When the “↑” button of the control button is pressed, the heavy object is lifted upwards. If the situation is
reversed, the motor rotates in the opposite direction. At this point, as long as the two-phase wiring is
reversed, then the lifting movement of the hook should be stopped within ≥ fmm from the top of the hook
device. (f is the corresponding value in Table 3 of the basic dimensions).

9. The electric trolleys of 0.5 tons, 1 ton, 2 tons, 3 tons and 5 tons are equipped with 4 wheels when the lifting
height is 6 meters and 9 meters (including 0.5 tons and 12 meters); when the lifting height is equal to And
larger than 12 meters, plus a small frame with two wheels. At this time, two joint bearings are added to the
joint between the electric trolley and the reel casing. The 10-20 ton electric hoist is connected to the reel
casing by two electric trolleys and two joint bearings. In order to adapt to different types of I-beams,
adjustment washers are installed at both ends of the bolts.

10. The torque of the electric hoist main motor is transmitted to the reducer through the elastic coupling.
The coupling absorbs the impact load and achieves a balanced start.

11. The operation of the electric hoist is realized by the hanging push button switch and the electric hoist
control box mounted on the side of the electric trolley. The hoist adopts the soft cable introduction line and
introduces the current into the electrical control box through the soft cable introducer, which is convenient
to install.

III. Usage and Maintenance

A. . Installation of Electric Hoist

1) When the hoist is packaged, the main unit and related components are disassembled. During installation,
the damage should be checked and reassembled. The reducer must be refueled before installation.

2) After the suspension electric trolley is assembled with the main machine, when it is installed on the
I-beam track (Fig. 3) (Fig. 4) (Fig. 5), it is necessary to ensure that each force is left between the edge of the
wheel and the opposite edge of the I-beam track. The clearance of 3-5 mm is adjusted by the washer on the
bolt (Fig. 10), and the number of washer adjustments is shown in Table 7.
3) Check that the plug for the fixed wire rope is securely installed and add the rope card as required (Fig.
7).

4) After the hoist is installed and connected, the empty hook is raised to the limit position, the distance
between the highest point of the hook device and the reel casing is ≥f, the upper limit stop block is adjusted
and tightened, and then the hook is lowered to the limit position to ensure the reel Leave 2-3 turns of wire
rope on it and adjust and tighten the lower stop block (Figure 8).

5) In order to ensure that the hoist runs to the ends of the track without derailing or colliding and damaging
the body, a stop block shall be provided at both ends of the track with a buffer device.

6) The grounding wire shall be provided on the frame of the two ends of the I-beam or connected to it. The
grounding resistance of any point on the hoist shall not exceed 0.1Ω (the ground wire may be 4-5mm2 bare
copper wire or the section is not less than 25 mm2 metal conductor.

7) For the adjustment of the braking performance of the motor, see Chapter 2 of the structural schematic
diagram in Chapter 5.

8) CD type (single speed lift) electrical wiring, see Figure 12 - Figure 16, MD type (two speed lift) electrical
wiring, see Figure 17 - Figure 19.
