1 Introduction
The RRU3008 is a Remote Radio Unit (RRU) based on the multi-carrier technology.
It is usually used in scenarios requiring large capacity.
The RRU3008 supports AC and DC power input modes and performs modulation,
demodulation, data processing, and combining and dividing for baseband signals and Radio
Frequency (RF) signals.
1.1 Appearance
The RRU3008 V1 and RRU3008 V2 are shown in Figure a.1 and Figure a.2
respectively.
2 Technical Specifications
RRU3008 V1 modules supporting 900 MHz frequency band have been replaced with RRU3008 V2
for delivery.
2.2 Capacity
Figure a.5 RRU3008 capacity
Item Specification
RRU3008 An RRU3008 supports a maximum of eight carriers.
For S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and S6, the 8PSK output power is the same as the GMSK output power with
the improvement in the hardware capability.
For S7 and S8, the 8PSK output power is the same as the GMSK output power with the optional
feature GBFD-118104 Enhanced EDGE Coverage enabled.
For the RF standards, see EN 301 502 V9.2.1
