I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

“Crujiente Rollo de Pan” is a Spanish term for “crusty bread rolls” or the
product that the management team decided to sell. The management came
up with a different name to represent a new and improved product from the
normal bread rolls and pizza rolls that people usually sell. One of the benefits
of doing so, is that these bread rolls don’t require too much time or effort.
These rolls are very easy to make, being an advantage to the other foods that
takes too much time to be produced.

The main objectives of the team in doing this business vary from personal
profit or income, to the improvement of social skills, and giving the team more
insights about the business management and how can they manage one,
more likely to convince or influence them in becoming entrepreneurs. This is
important in building their knowledge about entrepreneurship and widening
their experiences and opinions by doing one. Being a part time entrepreneur
is also possible to make the students more productive during the times that
they are free.

The team started by planning the whole project. They started with the
capital by borrowing some money on one of the teammates and just adding
more if it isn’t enough. Then, they proceeded with buying the ingredients and
making a bunch of bread rolls. The management team decided to sell the
bread rolls around the neighborhood of Dalandanan, Valenzuela City, and
inside the premises of Children of Mary Immaculate College.

The team made two sizes to make it more affordable, selling the regular
ones for 8 pesos and the bigger ones for 15 pesos.

The team sold everything to the consumers, and the plans worked
efficiently. The team , then proceeded to calculating everything and knowing
the total profit. The team returned the money and distributed what’s left for
themselves.

However, there are still flaws in this business, the management wasn’t
very careful in spending the capital, hence buying more expensive
ingredients instead of the cheaper ones, lessening the profit.

This concludes that having a business involving making bread rolls is an

effective way of earning money and definitely a profitable business to start
with especially with beginners since it is very affordable, easy to make and
does not require too much time to make.

Below, will be the more specified explanation and calculations of this

project.

1
II. BUSINESS OBJECTIVES

Long Term Objectives

 First, the goal of the management is to sell improved bread rolls by adding
more fillings, and content to it, for the consumers to try more, and know what
they prefer to eat, or to simply avoid them from cloying over the food.

 The next objective is to provide extra income for the management team to
spend on their personal expenses, and to add more productivity in their life by
doing business and continuing it as much as they could.

 The management team finds it a necessity to know the improvements and

changes to the product in order to maintain or keep up the sales, by being
aware of the preferences of the consumers.

 Lastly, this project is to give the management team further information,

experience, and knowledge towards managing or making a business if they
ever thought of doing it in the near future. The most important objective of this
business is to inspire the students on pursuing entrepreneurship and be
successful with it.

Short Term Objectives

 The management team intend to sell as many bread rolls as they can and
satisfy the consumers as they do so. They also want to earn profit from it.

 Since people are drawn to foods and products that are affordable and
delicious at the same time, the objective of the management in making this
product is to provide people a new type of food to satisfy their taste buds with
a very affordable cost.

 The management team also want to know if the project can be a profitable or
a promising business that anyone can pull off or start off with. It is to see if the
product is good enough to sell to people.

 Doing this business makes the management more involved in other people’s
life, hence being able to confidently defend and promote the product is one of

2
the objectives of the business. It is to enhance the team’s confidence and
social skills by dealing with different people.

 Aside from that, since most of the consumers will be students, it is to offer
them a food that is not sold inside the school premises, adding a choice to
their normal everyday foods.

 The management team also aims to sell this food since this can be eaten at
most of the time of the day; during breakfast, or as snacks. It can also be
used as an appetizer before a meal. In addition, it doesn’t take much time and
effort to make, so it’s really ideal for business.

III. PRODUCT OVERVIEW

 Eggs  Canned Tuna

 Cooking Oil  Tomato Sauce

 Loaf Bread  Mayonnaise

 Bread Crumbs  Cheese

“Crujiente Rollo de Pan” is a Spanish term for “crusty bread rolls” or the
name of the product that the management team decided to sell. It is from the
original bread rolls that only contains hotdog and cheese and was also from
the pizza roll where in it has tomato sauce inside. The management team
decided to combine these two and add more ingredients to improve the
product and to have a better outcome from the two original goods. Crusty
bread rolls can be eaten during breakfast, or as an appetizer and snack.

The following will be the base ingredients of the Crujiente Rollo de Pan
including the procedure of making one.

Ingredients:

3
 Ham  Onions

Procedure:

 First, flatten the bread using a rolling pin or a bottle and prepare
the other ingredients.

 Mix the tomato sauce with the mayonnaise and spread it on top of

the bread.

 Fry the ham and saute the tuna with some onions.

 Put on a piece of cheese and ham, or sauteed tuna and roll the
bread. Dip it on to the egg and bread crumbs.

 Stick some toothpicks to prevent them from rolling out and

proceed to deep frying it.

 Make sure to dry out the oil before putting it inside a container to

avoid the bread rolls from being oily or greasy.

 Plate it, and serve, most preferably with a dipping sauce.

There are various things that is somehow not healthy such as deep-frying
because of the oil or the fat in the ham but there is nothing to worry, the amounts
of oil and fats to be found in the bread rolls can be burned for the day. There are
still healthy stuff inside these bread rolls. To start off, ham is a good source of
protein. It is also a very good source of selenium, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin B6,
B12, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and choline. Depending on the variety and
cooking method, ham can also be low in fat. Next, bread, the health benefit of
bread is that contains high levels of vitamins, calcium, protein and iron. Bread
made of whole wheat has fiber which is good for digestion and health. Tuna also
have Omega-3 acids that help reduce joint pain and stiffness, combat depression,
fight asthma, and is linked to proper neurological development in children. Most
importantly, however, they help reduce the amount of a certain type of fat in your
blood, called triglyceride. Tuna helps produce melatonin that helps in regulating
sleep and reduces the effect of aging. Tuna is full of a number of these nutrients,
including the aforementioned vitamin C, zinc, selenium, and manganese. All of
these vitamins and minerals help the body’s natural processes ward off disease
and decay at a cellular level.
