When the monitor goes into standby, the monitor does not go black; instead, it cycles full screens
of red, green, and blue color.

These screens are used at the factory to prepare the monitor and should not appear after it the
monitor has been packaged.
If your monitor displays these screens, open the onscreen display and reset the monitor settings
to factory default as follows:
