2. INTRODUCTION
In the process of improving the use of English as a foreign language, it is necessary to continue
learning language functions that allow you to communicate in a simple way, as intended by this
level, in everyday situations, past, and future on common aspects. Expressing yourself about
routines, anecdotes and life projects are part of these aspects and require that you maintain
your active participation during this training, bearing in mind that you are the main actor of
your knowledge. It is also intended that, through teamwork, the promotion of values and the
integral management of technologies and other sources of knowledge, you will be able to
achieve the goals you have set for your life project; this will allow you to be competitive and
give rise to better opportunities in your work, social and professional context.

I think that Tony Robbins is right, because making good questions require great knowledge on the
topic, and because of that the answers can be exposed better giving a more accurate and useful
response.

Read the explanation about reported speech then do the exercises in the link below.
If the reporting verb (i.e. said) is in the past, the reported clause will be in a past form. This form is
usually one step back into the past from the original.
For example:
She said her job was interesting.

She said she went to the library each day.
Our new colleague said he spoke French every day.
If simple present, present perfect or the future is used in the reporting verb (i.e. says) the tense is
retained. For example:
 She says that her job is interesting.

 She says that she goes to the library each day.
 Our new colleague will say that he speaks French every day.
If reporting a general truth the present tense will be retained or even the future tense can be
used. For example:
 She said that her country is very beautiful.

 They said that trust is vital for any business.

Chapter VI
About ten minutes later, the bell rang for dinner, and, as Virginia did not come down, Mrs Otis
sent up one of the servants. After a little time he returned and said that he could not find Miss
Virginia anywhere. So, the whole family started looking for her.
The hours passed, but they could find no trace of Virginia. So, after dinner, Mr Otis ordered them
all to bed, saying that nothing more could be done that night, and that he would contact Scotland
Yard in the morning. Just when everybody was about to leave the dining-room, the clock struck
midnight, and when the last stroke sounded, a secret door opened in the wall and in that door
stood Virginia with a little box in her hand. Everybody ran up to her.
“Good heavens! child, where have you been?” said Mr Otis, rather angrily, as he thought she had
been playing a trick on them.
“Papa,” said Virginia quietly, “I have been with the ghost. He is dead, and you must come and see

want their intangible product, and also how miscommunication may happen between different
departments in the company, so communication between the client and the company is the key
to achieve the desired product.

Yes, it is very important. In our professional lives as software engineers and alike we must
remember our human relationships with the world, that is, keeping our relationships human,
with ethics, morals, truth, honesty, acceptance, integrity, and more, all of these respecting the
others as individuals and respecting their ideals, decisions, and points of view.
Do you agree or disagree with the definition of Ethics? Justify your answer.
I agree with the definition given, all the aspects mentioned of Ethics have an important role
when it comes to values and judgments, which are all important to consider in our professional
and personal lives. And consist of making a more human and fair connection with the ones
