Society is wherein individuals or groups of people are interdependently living with each other linked

with particular traditions, customs, credos, practices, beliefs and the like which may vary and usually
diverse in nature. It is an organized community where people are living in harmony and with standard
structure which serves as the framework of society. Moreover, it needs essential factors to sustain itself,
but what are these factors in particular which makes a society sustainable? How do we really define or
consider a society sustainable?

To sustain, that is a must to assure the life and survival of the individuals in a community. A sustainable
society is an example of an adaptive one in the dynamic nature of environment. It is where the society
can innovate itself from the influx of modernization and use this one as an advantage to be able to give
the needs of the members of the society. The resources and the necessities are given fairly and in most
of the times. In short, society's demands are met.

In terms of economic needs, for it to be qualified as sustainable, whole society can create solutions in
any issues that could disrupt the stability of their comfortable living and has the capability to fight
poverty and/or famine or scarcity.

In justice and peace, all individuals must be recognized equally and the society is capable of
implementing rules that could guarantee the safety of every person.

In privileges and rights, every individual must be sustained with their freedom but must have
restrictions. And all should receive equity and democracy (this is circumstantial). And every member
should strive to empower themselves in all dimensions within the sociey.

And relating to the government, or how this fundamental structure contributes to the sustainability of a
society, it must study, analyze and impose ordinances which fights for the continuous existing and
strong bonding within the community. It should sustain most of the needs of society since this structural
organization is composed of individuals whose goals are to govern and maintain the needs of every
constituents.

Highlighting and elaborating the word "interdependent", different sectors/organizations/ groups that
encompasses society itself; they must bond together to regulate the stability and maintain the good
flow of every aspects. And must be flexible at all times to overcome setbacks and have instantaneous
response in providing possible solutions in problems like poverty, economic issues, environmental
issues, health issues and the like which society usually encounter.

Therefore, a sustainable society is community that can provide what the people wants, needs, and
seeking for despite of hindrancea that could occur.
