RESULTS

In this chapter, the researchers presented the results of the in-depth interview.
The data gathered were analyzed to look for codes to formulate themes.

DISCUSSIONS

In this chapter, the researchers presented an inimitable study to give

emphasized to the life experiences of a single lesbian mother. The results was

discussed and interpreted based on the gathered data from our participant. Hence, from

the responses of the participants in this study, there were the themes being formed.

A. Difficulties and Sacrifices in Life

Difficulties are one of the reasons why a person struggle in life. Single lesbian

mother is a rare case in the society. Who would have thought that an Adam hearted

person turns into Child-Bearer.

Tremendous Excruciating Pain

A bully, judgments, gossips are one of the founding reasons why a person such

as single lesbian mom experiences a deep prostrate situation in life. Pain sometimes is

one of the factors why a person boosts its courage in life. Despite of having positivity’s

in all aspects, it can’t deny the fact that uncertain things may occur along the way. They

are just simply a lesbian but to the point of having a child at the same time is beyond of

the expectation of others.

Participant B enunciated

“…I told myself that it is better to disappear in this world to lessen the pain I’d
felt. It brought me of attempting to commit a suicide…”

The response of the participant implicates that she wants to end her life, simply

because she is not well prepared but still she has the concrete decision to withstand

whatever may the outcome.

Financially Unstable

Poverty is one of the major causes why many people experience scarcity in life.

As an independent lesbian mom, they will offer everything just for the sake of child to

fulfill the necessity of it.

Participant A stated:

…It was difficult for me knowing I’m just a less fortunate person, I don’t even
have a stable job to sustain our everyday living…”

Participant B also stated that:

… Choosing the responsibility is my principle in life I even worked every

weekend to supply the needs of my child.

It was clearly stated with the participants although they can’t find a regular job

they still have the courage to pursue life just for the sake of their beloved child. Even

they both struggle they still find a way to survive in life.
