Brief description Manufacturing variances in the crimping process for the oil hose, PN
21349349 may cause the oil hose to leak. In rare cases the oil hose can
separate from the crimping sleeve resulting in oil leakage near hot parts of
the engine and therefor the oil hose needs to be replaced.

Method 1. Remove the covers 1 and 2

2. Disassemble the oil hose from wastegate valve and oil filter holder.

3. Assemble the new oil hose to wastegate valve and oil filter holder.
– Tightening torque on wastegate valve 20Nm (14.8 lbf. ft.)
– Tightening torque on oil filter holder 48Nm (17.7 lbf. ft.)

4. Assemble the cable tie to avoid chafing on the oil hose.

5. Start the engine and check so no oil leakage occurs.

6. Assemble the cover 1 and 2
