MARKETING PLAN

Product

Hermosa Partnership product can be classified as a convenience

product. Camote Jam Rice Roll requires minimum effort and thought

upon purchasing. It is also among the lower priced products. Another

thing is that it appeals to a large target market. Among the type of

convenience products, Camote Jam Rice Roll is classified as an impulse

good. Customers generally purchased this product without any plan in

mind. The target market will usually purchase Camote Jam Rice Roll as a

reflex action especially when they are in need of a snack.

Place

Hermosa Partnership will start as a small business having stall as their

place of production and promotion, however as time passes by the

company will strive to expand. Expansion will first begin on neighboring

areas where the company are originally located. As the success of the

overall business increase, the company will slowly open other stalls in

Page 34
larger areas like cities. The company won't just limit its place of

expansion to the world that the company is stepping in.

Price

The Hermosa Partnership decided to use the cost based in pricing. Cost

based pricing is the most popular pricing method for product businesses.

Aside from it, it is easy to understand and calculate the price and it is

also logical and fair. This pricing strategy make sure that incurred cost is

covered and could be a very useful when setting a price for a new

product.

Promotion

The marketing strategy that the Hermosa decided to use is the personal

selling. Personal selling is a face to face interaction with the customers

wherein the company's employees uses persuasive skills to convince a

customer. This marketing strategy is commonly used in most of every

Page 35
business. It does not only improve the employees’ communication and

persuasive skills but it also helps the company to gain more customers

and potential customers. It builds a strong and binding relationship with

customers who value time and effort.

People

The Hermosa Partnership chose to hire matrix workers. Matrix workers

are flexible to do any job since they are workers who completed college

courses and are formally trained professionals. The company needs

workers who are knowledgeable enough to do any task and has ability to

do work at the same time. In hiring matrix workers, the business can

assure that they will do a great job since they have specialized skills,

trainings and they have also advanced skills required for the job.

Page 36
Packaging

Hermosa Partnership uses the primary packaging since the company

ought to tell it by piece. Selling it by piece is more affordable and

convenient for everyone than selling it by pack and box. Through selling

it by piece, it would meet the company’s objectives to maintain

affordable prices for each product. Furthermore, this packaging

preserves the product in good quality for a long period of time.

Process

The company uses the “just in time” process. This minimizes the time,

labor and materials in a manufacturing process by only producing goods

as they are needed. The product has to be freshly cooked before serving

it to the customers. The product is well-served if it is freshly cooked,

thus making it more delicious because of its hot and texture when eaten.

This process best suits the company’s production process because the

product is close to spoilage so with this process, it can help preserve and

maintain the products good shape.
