Title: Continue My Story
The class will make a story. Each person gets up and might speak for anywhere
from 20 seconds to a minute and they start telling a story. And when their time is up,
the next person has to get up and they have to continue the story. So, obviously each
person doesn’t know what the person before them is going to say and they have to
continue the story. The story starts with the teacher.
c. Presentation
An Impromptu speech is a talk that you give on the spot with no preparation. It’s
not how you handle yourself when you are prepared, that demonstrates your
leadership, it’s how you handle yourself when you are least prepared. Most of the
presentations you give will be prepared, yet some will not, and these unplanned
events will have a bigger impact on your personal brand.
d. Discussion
 What is impromptu speech?
 What are the advantages and disadvantages of impromptu speech?
 What are the different tips we need to consider when delivering an impromptu
speech?
 How can impromptu speech help you as a student? As a future maker?
e. Application
Each student must choose a number 1-15 and each number has a corresponding
picture/word and they must deliver an impromptu. Each of them have 90 seconds to
do their speech. Always consider the following criteria:
 Delivery-10
 Relevance-10
