Entrepreneurship Nurse

Entrepreneurship can basically be done by all professions, including nurses. Then, how when nurses tend
to choose voor entrepreneurship? What about when nurses consider their lives more prosperous when
they are self-employed compared to working at health centers, clinics, or hospitals? Is this an
opportunity or even a challenge for the nurse profession in the future?

Various opinions that are pro and contra occur when we discuss nurses who tend to choose
entrepreneurship rather than focus on their duties as a nurse, and this is the reality. Not a few we can
see colleagues who try to open a small business as the trend is now an online business to become a big
entrepreneur.

"Entrepreneurs may not be nurses, but nurses can be entrepreneurs"

I think there is nothing wrong with a nurse having ambitions and taking the initiative to open her own
business. Isn't that a plus? What I disagree with is when focusing on business and forgetting about the
profession's basic as a nurse, especially to insult the profession. Because not a few discordant voices
from colleagues who have revealed that they regret school in nursing, spending a lot of money, energy,
and time if ultimately entrepreneurship guarantees the welfare of their lives. This kind of thinking which
I think must be straightened out.

All choices have risks, including nurses who choose to become entrepreneurs. Whether as an
opportunity or a challenge, I think it's subjective, depending on how we look and react to it. On the one
hand, entrepreneurship is a great opportunity for nurses to be able to get a side income that can make
their lives more prosperous, and that is a positive thing. Especially when the business can create jobs for
other people, extraordinary is not it ???

I personally fully support nurses who are entrepreneurial. The next question is what business is suitable
for nurses? This is the first question asked by friends who want to start a business, especially for those
who do not have the knowledge and experience in the business world at all. In fact, not a few of them do
not understand how to harmonize the profession as a nurse with the effort that will be undertaken so
that both can be relevant. As a result, they are mistaken.
Change our mindset, not only about how we earn income, but how we can create jobs for others. The
form of business we can do is become a homecare nurse, in collaboration with certain agencies in the
provision of medical devices, pursuing in nursing schools or campuses, becoming distributors of health
books, opening less private nursing, and many other businesses in accordance with their competencies
we have. Isn't that less prestigious than being an employee in a shop and Mall ???

Who else will improve the fate of the profession if not us? Let us embrace each other in maintaining the
profession's good name and achieve mutual success. Believe me, as long as we want to try, fortune can
come from anywhere. Try to worry if you have not been accepted to work in an institution because there
are actually many more promising opportunities without having to protect your identity as a professional
nurse
