The Verb Haber

(DO NOT DIRECTLY TRANSLATE, IT MEANS NOTHING IF IT’S NOT CONJUGATED)

Only translate when it has already been conjugated

USES:

1) MERON AND WALA

A) Hay – There is / There are No Hay - Wala


B) Había – There used to be / There were No Habia – There werent
C) Hubó – There was No Hubo – There wasnt
D) Habrá – There will be No Habrá – There will not be

Examples:

Hay clase mañana (There is class tomorrow)

Habia un escuela aqui (There used to be a school here)

Ayer habia mucha gente en ATC (Yesterday there were a lot of people in ATC)

Ayer hubó una fiesta (yesterday there was a party)

Mañana habrá clase (tomorrow there will be class)


2) Past Perfect (HAVE DONE/HAVE YOU EVER TENSE)

Haber (conjugate in past )+ verb in ado/ido form

Yo he hablado (i have spoken) nosotros hemos hablado (we have spoken)

Tu has hablado (you have spoken) vosotros habéis hablado (you guys have spoken)

Usted/el/ella ha hablado (he/she has spoken) ustedes/ellos/ellas han hablado (they have spoken)

Examples:

(Tu) has comido? (Have you eaten)

Si. (Yo) he comido (yes i have eaten)

No. Todavía (Yo) no he comido (No. I have not eaten)

Tu has estudiado? (Have you studied)

Si. Ya he estudiado (yes, i have studied)

No. No he estudiado todavía (no i havent studied yet)

Tu has viajado a España? (Have you travelled to spain?)

Si. Ya he viajado a España (Yes, i have travelled to Spain)

No. Todavia no he viajado a España (No. I havent travelled to Spain yet)
