Sunny Bucket Hat

Size:
Can fit most 22” size heads and can be stretched for bigger
domes.

Materials:
•Size 5.5mm (I-Hook)
•Sport weight yarn or yarn of your choice. (I used “Aran
Fleck” by Red Heart)
•Tapestry needle

Notes:
This is made like most hats, in rounds and NO TURNING.
This is a personal pattern, not professional at all. If I made
any mistakes, that’s where you come in and contact me and
help me.
Ch 4, slst to form a ring

Round 1: Ch1, 12 sc in ring, slst to first sc

Round 2: Ch 2, (counts as first hdc now and throughout pattern) hdc in same space as joining, * 2 hdc in next sc, repeat
from* around. Slst in top of ch 2.

Round 3: Ch 1, sc in each around, slst in first sc.

Round 4: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next st, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next st, repeat from * around ending with
slst in top of ch 2.

Round 5: Ch 1, sc in each st around, slst in first sc.

Round 6 : Ch2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next 2 sts, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 2 sts, repeat from * around ending
with slst in top of ch 2.

Round 7: Ch 1, sc in each st around, slst in first sc.

Round 8: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next 3 sts, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 3 sts, repeat from *
around ending with slst in top of ch 2.

Round 9: Ch 1, sc in each st around, slst in first sc.

Round 10: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next 4 sts, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 4 sts, repeat from *
around ending with slst in top of ch 2.

Round 11: Ch 1, sc in each st around, ending with slst in first sc.

Round 12: Ch 2, hdc in each around, ending with slst in top of ch 2.

Round 13: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each st around slst in both loops of first sc.

Round 14: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, ending with slst in top of ch 2.

Rounds 15 & 16: Repeat rounds 13 & 14.

Rounds 17-21: Repeat rounds 11 & 12.

Rounds 22 & 23: Repeat rounds 13 & 14.

Rounds 24-29: Repeat rounds 11 & 12.

Brim

Round 30: Ch 1, sc in each st around ending with slst in fist sc.

Round 31: Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in each of the next 3 st, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in the next 3 st.repeat from *
around ending with slst to top of ch2.

Round 32: Ch 1, sc in each st around ending with slst in first sc. Finish off.
