§ #549 Jam Cookies 2 balls
• Lion Brand® stitch markers
• Lion Brand® large-eyed blunt
needle

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
Circular knitting needle size 13 (9 mm), 24 in. (61 cm) long

GAUGE
8 sts + 12 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

NOTES
1. The Cowl is worked in one piece in the round on a circular needle.
2. The stitch pattern is so easy that after working a few rounds, you may not need
to look at the instructions again!

COWL
Cast on 60 sts. Place marker for beg of rnd. Join by working the first st on left hand
needle with the working yarn from the right hand needle and being careful not to
twist sts.

Rnd 1: *K6, (k1, p1) twice; rep from * around.

Rnd 2: *K6, (p1, k1) twice; rep from * around.

Rep Rnds 1 and 2 until piece measures about 15 in. (38 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
