 Anti-Hospital Deposit Law

LINGAP SA MASA: This initiative is delivered through the Department of Social Welfare and
Development. It’s a medical assistance program by the Office of the President to deliver health services
and free medicine to indigent and patients with little to no resources in government hospitals.

The Free Tuition Fee Law is perhaps the Duterte Administration’s most positive achievements to
date. In his effort to bridge this gap between the poor and education, Duterte signed “The
Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act” or Republic Act 10931 on August 3, 2017.
