Column equipment
Internals used:
– trapezoidal valve trays with various types
of valves,
– unique centrifugal trays used with heavy gas
and fluid loads,
– structured packing «Вакупак» (“Vacupac”)
and «Кедр» (“Cedar”) - in comparison with
many foreign analogs these packings have
longer lifetime with similar efficiency (due to
thickness of the sheet used).

and Sulzer and have many significantly better
parameters.

Reactor equipment
Our reactor equipment is successfully used
at the Mozyr refinery,
Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez, the Saratov
refinery, the Omsk refinery.
Reactors produced by OJSC “Penzkhimmash”
are successfully used for:
- processes of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel
and vacuum gas oil hydrotreatment,
- gasoline reforming,
- isomerization,
- methyl tertiary butyl ether production,
- catalytic cracking,
- sulfur production, etc.
Tube furnaces
We manufacture and deliver:
- box-type furnaces with vertical and
horizontal coil layout,
- cylinder furnaces with a vertical or twisted
radiant coil and a horizontal-tube convection
coil,
- cylinder furnaces with annular convection
chamber,
- multichamber furnaces with a vertical or
horizontal-tube radiant coil with sandwich
irradiation,
- special furnaces for sulfur plants,
- incinerators.
Furnaces efficiency, depending on the
process, is 90-92%; to increase efficiency, it
is possible to install furnace gas waste-heat
recovery systems – air heaters and waste-
heat boilers.
Air coolers
Since 2001 OJSC “Penzkhimmash” has been
delivering air coolers of patented design to
compressor plants of OJSC “Gazprom” with
the sales geography from Sakhalin to
Kaliningrad.
Air coolers are designed for condensation and
cooling of vaporized, gaseous and fluid media
used in the processes of oil-refining,
petrochemical, gas and allied industries and
cooling natural gas at compressor plants of
gas mains.
Heat-exchange equipment
OJSC “Penzkhimmash” manufactures heat exchangers
of different types: shell-and-tube heat exchangers for
a wide variety of consumers, heat exchangers with
twisted tubes and high-pressure apparatuses for
nitrogen and nitrogen compound making industry,
heat-exchange equipment for sulfur plants.
Assisted by the research centre we started to
manufacture new types of heat-exchange equipment:
shell-and-tube heat exchangers with screw partitions,
high-performance plate-type heat exchangers.
Within the framework of the import substitution
programme OJSC “Penzkhimmash” has started to
manufacture spiral heat exchangers.

Tanks
Above-ground cylindrical tanks according
to TU 3600-013-00220575-2002 designed for
operation in process plants of gas, oil and
refining industries for gaseous and liquid
hydrocarbon media.
Horizontal and vertical tanks of the ВЭЭ
(vertical all-welded bulk-capacity tanks with
ellipsoidal ends), ВКЭ (vertical all-welded bulk-
capacity tanks with lower taper end and
ellipsoidal head), ГКК (horizontal all-welded
bulk-capacity tanks with taper unbeaded
bottoms), ГЭЭ (horizontal all-welded bulk-
capacity tanks with ellipsoidal ends) type
designed for intake, storage and dispensing of
liquid and gaseous media.
Horizontal underground drain tanks according
to TU 3600-013-00220575-2002 designed for
operation in process plants of gas, oil and
refining industries for draining residues of light-
oil and dark-oil products.
Horizontal tanks designed for above-ground
storing of liquefied hydrocarbon gases:
propane, butane.
Product quality system
The OJSC “Penzkhimmash” quality system is
certified by the quality system certification
agency «ФедРегистр» (“FedRegister”) for the
compliance with
GOST R ISO 9001-2008 (ISO 9001:2015):
- certificate № СДС.ФР.СМ.01021.17.
In 2002 we got (and later confirmed)
certificates of the American Society of
Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for
manufacturing pressure vessels,
manufacturing and installation of power
boilers – with stamps U and S
(№ 33,693; 36,692).
In 2012 and 2015 we got Licences for
designing and manufacturing equipment for
nuclear plants.
Inspection and testing
Each product manufactured by the plant is
subject to a special set of tests guaranteeing its
quality and reliability. Depending on the
function of the products the scope of non-
destructive and destructive testing is
determined. The plant has qualified staff and
proper departments and bureaus to perform
special modes of inspection.
The OJSC “Penzkhimmash” laboratory of non-
destructive and destructive testing is attested
by LLC “Russian Expert Company on High-Risk
Facilities” for performing non-destructive
testing
- Attestation Certificate № 52А072887 of
22.07.2016.
For performing destructive testing:
- Certificate of acceptance of the testing
laboratory № 16.02174.130 of 17.10.2016
issued by the Russian Maritime Registry of
Shipping.
