IViL

IIT for Villages

Here at IViL, we truly believe in the Mahatma’s words

India’s heart lies in its villages

And it is with this firm conviction that we move forward each

day, trying in our own small ways to make India’s villages

cleaner, better, and happier. Started by a small group who got

inspired by a visit to a village in Tamil Nadu, IViL has since

then grown into a discussion forum and an action platform for

the students of IIT Madras to implement their thoughts and

ideas for rural India.

We have nine projects at present. Scroll down to know more.
