The graph above depict the the growth of disparate technologies that were being used between 1996

and 2003 in UK’s households in percentage. Apart from CD player and Internet Access, only mobile
phones and home computer that experienced major change.

To begin, I want to slowly elaborate facts that is manifest in the chart above. Cd players started off on
top standing in the percentage of 60%, before then gently shot up to above 80%, while internet access
had an augmentations from around 10% to above 40%.

In the moment, home computer that initially ranked on the second place, begun with a percentage of
30%, slowly get overlapped by mobile phone at 1999/2000 then finishing on the third rank with a
percentage of 55%. On the other side, mobile phone had a significant growth, with a percentage below
20% in the beginning of 1996, subsequently get almost a 4fold jump in the 2003.

By far, the most popular technologies that currently used by UKs household is still CD player while
mobile phones get a major triumph during that particular span.
