Introduction
This guide provides an overview to navigate the
Wireless Passenger Control Unit (WPCU) menus.
The Cabin Electronics System (CES) Master Seat
Location (MSL) WPCU provides the controls for the
cabin lighting, cabin temperature, and the audio and
video sources.
Common Controls
MSL WPCU provides shortcuts to headphone volume
controls, aircraft zone speaker volume controls, and
Seat Setup Controls.
The category tabs are located on the top of each
WPCU display. The MSL WPCU category tabs are
VIDEO, AUDIO, and CABIN.
Video Category
1. Touch the VIDEO tab.
2. Video category tab provides access to Cabin
Monitor controls.
How to Control the Cabin Video
1. Touch desired monitor(s). System shows
available speakers, QUICK SELECT,
SETTINGS and SOURCES buttons.
2. Touch the QUICK SELECT button for quick
access to video controls of the source currently
playing on the monitor.
3. Touch the SETTINGS button to access Monitor
Settings.
4. Touch the SOURCES button to select desired
video source for the highlighted monitor(s).
How to Select the Airshow
1. Touch the AIRSHOW button in the Video
Sources page.
2. Touch one of the Airshow selections to view on
the selected monitor(s).
How to Select the iPod®
1. Touch the IPOD button in the Video Sources
page.
2. Touch one of the iPod® selections to watch iPod®
video on the selected monitor(s).
3. Touch the MENU button to view iPod® menu
selections.
4. Touch the SOURCE LOCK button to lock or
unlock iPod®. Controls for the iPod® are only
provided to the owner of the lock, preventing
other users from interrupting iPod® media. The
user is notified when ownership of a lock is lost.
5. Touch the PLAYING button to display the iPod®
controls which include PLAY, PAUSE, STOP,
FAST FORWARD, REWIND, SKIP FORWARD
and SKIP BACK functions.
6. Touch the CLOSE button to go back to the
Monitors page.
How to Select the Satellite (SAT) TV
1. Touch the SATELLITE button in the Video
Sources page.
2. Touch one of the Satellite TV selections to watch
on the selected monitor(s).
3. Touch the KEYPAD button to enter the desired
satellite channel number.
4. Touch the MENU button to show the program
guide.
5. Touch the GUIDE button to show the program
guide with the program channels. Use the
ARROW buttons to select a program. Touch OK
button to view the program.
How to Select the Digital Video Disc (DVD)
1. Touch the DVD button in the Video Sources
page.
2. Touch one of the DVD selections to watch on the
selected monitor(s).
3. Touch the DVD control buttons to PLAY,
PAUSE, STOP, FAST FORWARD, REWIND,
SKIP FORWARD and SKIP BACK.
4. Touch the MENU button to show the DVD menu.
Use the ARROW buttons to navigate the DVD
menu. Touch OK to select the menu item.
How to Select the Blu-ray®
1. Touch the BLU-RAY button in the Video Sources
page.
2. Touch one of the Blu-ray® selections to watch on
the selected monitor(s).
3. Touch the Blu-ray® Disc control buttons to
PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, FAST FORWARD,
REWIND, SKIP FORWARD and SKIP BACK.
4. Touch the MENU button to show the Blu-ray®
Disc menu. Use the ARROW buttons to navigate
the disc menu. Touch OK to select the menu
item.
5. Touch the POP-UP MENU button to show the
on-screen Blu-ray® Disc menu.
How to Select the Carry-on Video Port
1. Touch the CARRY-ON button in the Video
Sources page.
2. Touch one of the Carry-on selections to watch on
the selected monitor(s).
How to Select the Camera
1. Touch the CAMERA button in the Video Sources
page.
2. Touch one of the Camera selections to watch on
the selected monitor(s).
3. Touch the PLUS (+) or MINUS (−) buttons to
Audio Category
ZOOM in or out on the cameras with zoom 1. Touch the AUDIO tab.

2. Audio category tab provides access to Cabin
Speaker controls as well as the local headphone
controls.
How to Select the Video Cassette Player (VCP)
1. Touch the VCP button in the Video Sources page.
2. Touch one of the VCP selections to watch on the How to Control the Cabin Audio
selected monitor(s). 1. Touch desired speaker(s). System shows

Settings.

How to Control the Headphone Audio
1. Touch the QUICK SELECT button for quick
access to audio controls of the source currently
playing on the headphone.
2. Touch the SETTINGS button to access local
headphone settings.
3. Touch the SOURCES button to select desired
audio source for the local headphone.
How to Select the XM Radio
1. Touch the XM RADIO button in the Audio
Sources page.
2. Touch one of the XM Radio selections to listen on
the selected speaker(s) or headphones.
3. Touch the MENU button to show the XM Radio
channels.
4. Touch the desired CHANNEL NAME to select.
5. Touch one of the PRESETS buttons to select a
preset channel.
6. Touch the CATEGORY button, to select a
category.
7. Touch the KEYPAD button to enter the desired
channel number.
How to Select the Compact Disc (CD) Changer
1. Touch the CD button in the Audio Sources page.
2. Touch one of the CD or CD Changer selections to
listen on the selected speaker(s) or headphones.
3. Touch the control buttons to PLAY, STOP, FAST
FORWARD, REWIND, SKIP FORWARD and
SKIP BACK.
4. Touch the PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons to
change the CD.
How to Select the Monitor Audio
1. Touch the MONITOR button in the Audio
Sources page.
2. Touch one of the Monitor selections to listen on
the selected speaker(s) or headphones.
Cabin Category
1. Touch the CABIN tab.
2. Touch the desired function to control: Climate,
Shades, Lighting, or Setup.
How to Set the Cabin Temperature
1. Touch the FORWARD or AFT button to view the
controls for the desired cabin climate controls.
2. Touch the PLUS (+) or MINUS (−) button to
adjust the cabin temperature.
How to Set the Cabin Shades
1. Touch the SHADE ZONE buttons for the
selection of shades.
2. Touch the UP or DOWN button to set the
selected shades up or down.
3. Touch the ALL UP or ALL DOWN button to set
all the shades to up or down at once.
How to Set the Cabin Lights
1. Touch the FORWARD, MID or AFT button to
view the controls for the desired cabin lighting
controls.
2. Touch the Wash Lights ADJUST button to view
the wash lights controls.
3. Touch the PLUS (+) or MINUS (−) buttons to
adjust the brightness.
4. Touch the OFF button to turn off the cabin Wash
lights.
5. Touch the COLOR button to change the color of
the cabin lights. The button text shows the color
that is being used.
6. Touch the CLOSE button to return to the
Lighting page.

Quick Start Guide
How to Set the Setup Controls
1. Touch the zonal CABIN LOCK button to lock the
cabin area and prevent the other devices like
Galley Touch Screen Equipment (TSE),
Entertainment WPCU and Master Seat
TSE/WPCU in another cabin area from changing
the cabin conditions in the locked cabin area.
How to Set the WPCU Seat Location
1. Touch the SEAT SETUP button on the shortcuts
to show the Seat Setup page.
2. Touch the DEMOTE button to demote the seat to
a Passenger seat.
3. Touch the FLOORMAT HEATER icon button to NOTICE
turn On or Off.
4. Touch the desired SEAT button to set a different INFORMATION SUBJECT TO EXPORT
CONTROL LAWS
seat location for the WPCU.
