Manufacturer of High-End Brass and Bronze Architectural Door & Cabinet Hardware
“Original Manufacturer of the Rajack O & E Offset Pivot and Harmon Pocket Door Hinge”
Announcing.... The expansion of our “Light-Duty” Offset Pivot Hinges... available in all configurations!!
Welcome to Rajack
Warmest greetings to you, our loyal customers across the USA, Canada and Europe, who are now
friends, and to all who are just discovering our products and anxiously waiting to receive our catalog.
I know it won’t be long until we are working together, developing new projects and a bond as well.
We are celebrating our “68th Anniversary” with our new updated web-site. Production began
Rajack Designs, Ltd.
in the year 1939, when Ralph and Jack Mancini opened shop. With their “Old World” skill and
craftsmanship, Ray & Jack Mancini picked up their tools to set the foundation for today’s Rajack,
high-end architectural hardware. Since that day, we are well known for superior quality and workmanship.
All of our products are crafted within our own manufacturing facility, with Robert Mancini, Ray’s son.
Rajack is the original manufacturer of all the Builders’ Hardware displayed in our schematic catalog,
designed by Ostrander & Eschelman, known as O & E, no longer in existence. We have updated all
of them and have added new products and ideas. Please see the contents page for quick reference.
Most demanding are the Offset Pivot Hinges and Harmon Pocket Door Hinges, specified by leading
architects and designers throughout the world.
We have included pertinent information clearly stating how to specify and order pivots on the “Must
Read Info Sheet”, in the Schematic Section. Any of our hinges may be milled to custom sizes and/or
modified. Submit a design, and we will suit unusual specifications, e.g., 45 degree and angled pivots.
All finishes are available, custom, per your sample. BROWSE through these pages and find that we do
manufacture INTERMEDIATE and CENTERHUNG pivots. Please be sure to visit our
DUTCH DOOR PIVOT, available in all the configurations.
By popular request, we are proud to announce that we are expanding the production of our “light-duty” offset pivot
hinge, practical when a cost saving budget or lighter spec is required. These are available for all conditions as offered
with our standard and heavy duty pivots. Please inquire by phone, fax or e-mail for further details.
43-45 Rome Street
We are always close by to assist you with the correct specification and selection of hardware
for your project. We operate on construction time schedule and suggest that you call before Farmingdale,

Cost: Reflects the configuration required which is based on: the condition of door, the metal, (brass or
bronze, heavy duty or standard), and finish. Priced per set = (4) four leaves. Lead time 3-4 weeks from
purchase order, and subject to factory schedule, which may be different from time of quotation.
Material - All products are made of solid brass or bronze in our own factory from raw material to the
completed product. Rajack standard duty (doors to 180 lbs.) stock dimension is 3⁄8” x 7⁄8”, or heavy duty
(doors to 250 lbs.) 1⁄2” x 1”. Custom sizes available (e.g.: 1⁄4” x 3⁄4”, 1⁄2” x 11⁄4”) by design for special
condition of doors or cabinets, or very heavy tall or thick doors).
Intermediate Pivots are (2) pivot portions only. The only portions that are feasibly used for this application
are paired usually as following combination. (T4ixD3i, T5ixD4i, B2ixD3i or B3ixD4i). Intermediate pivots
are used for certain conditions where the doors are very high/or heavy. A notch must be cut the size of
the two offset pivot pieces that protrude in front of the door midway between the top and bottom. One
piece is mortised into jamb, and one into the door. (See schematic sample of these mortised in schematic
section of this catalog). Two sets of intermediates may be required for very tall and heavy doors.
Centerhung Pivots, are four pivot leaves, each without an offset (made of straight stock) with countersunk
screw holes, one mortised into the header, and one mortised into the top thickness of the door, same
set-up on bottom of door and one on the floor or sill. Door must be beveled in order to open.
Dutch Door Hinge Set: (1) custom jamb portion support top & bottom doors, 7 pcs = 1 set.
(Available for all conditions, flush, side jamb, back jamb, centerhung, see schematic catalog).

(2 Pivot Portions)
These two portions are used for conditions
where doors are very high and/or are very
heavy. They are mounted and mortised
through the middle of the hinge side of the
door to prevent warpage, and to supply
additional support. The “T” portion is mortised
to the jamb and the “D” portion mortised into
the door. A notch must be cut into the door at

Cost depends on door thickness size, e.g., 1 1/4”, 13/8”, 13/4”, 2”, 21/4”, 21/2”, 3”
Other sizes may be quoted and custom made. The door thickness is vital information in
order for us to quote or for an order to be processed. The maximum swing for this hinge is
120 degrees. It is feasible to use a pair and a half or two pair on a very heavy and/or tall
door. Only a small portion of this hinge is visible when installed.
Lead time is generally 2 - 6 weeks, depending on f inish required and shop schedule.
Please advise individuals handling this special hardware not to take them apart.
We advise not to schedule plating by others if it can be avoided. They are to be installed
by a qualif ied mechanic who is familiar with the proper installation. Also note, that the socket
heads on each hinge must all be facing out or all inward when installed. All doors and
jambs must be absolutely straight and plumb. All doors must be checked for bowing traits, if
so, they will buckle and not operate, this will result in costly damage.
We recommend and offer consultation regarding all aspects of the Harmon Hinge, as well
as all other Rajack Hardware before specifying, ordering and installation.
