PROCEDURE

1. The model of the end product had been choose and all the dimensions are measured
and record.

2. The metal plate were cut.The metal plate must be larger ratio compare to model to
avoid it from touching the wall.

3. The plate was properly taped together to form a container.

4. According to the high of a container the sprue had been cut.


5. The model and the sprue had been attached by glue.

6. Then, cut the 1.5L bottle as a mixture container.

7. The amount of silicone resin and hardener are measured based on the dimension of
the metal container.

8. The silicone resin and hardener are poured into the 1.5L bottle and stirred it until
mixed well.

9. The mixture was placed into the vacuum.

 The vacuum machine was closed when the pump start button being push.

 Wait until the reading of indication bar reaches zero

 The stop button was push

 Then pressed the slow button until it reach half of the bar and the fast button
was push and wait until the bar was full

10. To make sure all the burble fully removed, step 9 was repeated.

11. The model that had been attached with the sprue was placed inside the container.
12. The mixture inside the 1.5L bottle was poured into the container until it cover all
the model surface.

13. Then leave the mixture for 1 week for hardening process.

14. After 1 week the container was opened carefully.

15. Then drew the parting line in the middle of the mold and cut it into half.

16. Carefully removed the model form the mold to avoid a defect

17. Then the attach back the mold with staple and tape to prevent it from flowing out.

18. Mixed the polyol and isocyanate based on ratio 1:1 and add coloring additives.

19. Pour the mixture of polyol and isocyanate into the mold and wait 15-20 min for
hardening.

20. Then the staples were removed and the product was produce

21. Finishing process was conducted

22. Lastly the product analysis process were conducted using digital planimeter.
