strategize on one's path to fulfilling arch'l career
Architecture is one of the most influential professions in our global society. A career
in architecture offers opportunities to shape, perhaps even transform the
environment in which we live. Architecture brings together the arts, environmental
awareness, sciences and technology. The profession of architecture should have the
responsibility to guide those aspirants in the profession by teaching them the
principles of architecture and design. They should also increase the awareness of
those aspirants in the environment to be to be conservative, protective and sensitive.
Regarding other architects, an architect should also help another architect in
everything he knows, the techniques and new innovations and technologies that he
discovered. In this way, one architect can fulfill one’s architectural career, also the
architect’s profession which is architecture can be lifted up the society locally and
globally.

2. Enumerate at least ten the comprehensive arch'l services & its significance
in one's career choice & strategies
Acoustic design- it is important that an architect will not focus only on the
functionality and form of a building, but also considering other factors such as
acoustic which is critical in the relationship between environment and a particular
building. If an architect will fail to consider in his strategy the element of sound which
is critical in every community of people, then he can also fail in his profession as an
architect.
Architectural interior- it is one of the most crucial services of an architect. Many
buildings presently that was done by other profession focuses only on the façade of
the building especially commercial buildings, they use it for advertisments in a way
that it becomes catchy to the eye, but the quality and functionality of interior spaces
is not considered, as a result. Users are not coherent in terms of distribution in
interior environment of a building. The flow people are very slow and uncomfortable
as they don’t consider human measurements and standard spaces for interior
space.
Architectural lighting layout and design- lightings is a very significant in architecture
as it improve the quality of a building, it also have psychological effects especially in
interior spaces.if lighting can be mastered by an architect, clients will appreciate the
aesthetics of the totality of the building especially interior habitable spaces.
Historic and Cultural Heritage Conservation and Planning- it is one of the most
unselected specialization in architect’s profession. It is a good practice that an
architect should preserve those cultural heritage in our nation so that foreigns can
have a clue regarding our cultural identity even it is not yet established fully, those
heritage can help the nation to promote its own character so as to help the country in
its economy. An architect with this kind of career is not selfish because he is not only
focusing on constructing buildings but making existing heritage buildings to last for a
long time so as the next generation can also see and maybe trace the cultural and
architectural identity of the Philippines.
Post design Services- many architects nowadays construct a particular building with
a fast phase, but many of them fails to evaluate the building when it’s done to check
if the design solution is well constructed in actual, this career of an architect is
significant as this will serve their score result on how they care and value their plans
 and design and of course their profession. This will define an architect by their client
on how they serious in a project given to them.
Architectural research methods- before proceeding with concepts and
implementation, every architect should consider doing architectural research to
determine the opportunities and possible threats of site and other factors to the
building and also impact of the building to be constructed to the site and to the
community.
Fulltime construction supervision services- if an architect’s career is planning
designing and construction complex buildings or community, it is a must that he
should do a fulltime construction supervision in his project, this is to ensure the
quality, the accuracy of construction and materials to be applied and use in his
project.
Construction management services- if an architect will focus on the site, construction
manager should be his career choice.in this service will improve an architect in doing
actual works by experience.it is one of the most tough careers as they will do an
application to construct a design from theory to actual or reality.
Facilities maintenance support- facilities in an interior environment is critical in terms
of safety of the building users. It is a good career for an architect as a building alone
without facilities is ineffective for the users. In case of emergency, people inside of
the building will be mostly in safety.
Project management- a prime profession of an architect as he will be responsible in
the quality of work, the methods of construction, the building technologies to be
used, the work and phases of construction. If an architect as project manager,
considers all this factor, then he can say that it is a success in his profession and his
chosen career.

3. What crucial mindset and/or competencies should a contemporary

architect must have in his/her arsenal in order to be highly competitive in
the global market. Elaborate why.
The trend in this generation is to create a portfolio and showcase your work in a website
so that locally and globally the work of an architect should be known to have client with
the same taste and styles to be planned and constructed in a project. Not only in
architecture, but even in arts and other aspects of design, the qualification presently is
the works and experience that a particular professional has done in his chosen career.
Showcasing the ability as an architect will help to uplift the architectural profession as
the poeple can compare it to the works of the other professionals that overlaps in their
scope of works especially those professionals that are not qualified to do architectural
works.
